I had an extremely disappointing experience with Prime

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry from them in April 2025. I paid $6,000 down, and they added an extra $3,000 claiming it was for repair

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry from them in April 2025. I paid $6,000 down, and they added an extra $3,000 claiming it was for repairs done before delivery. I was promised verbally that if any issues came up, they would take care of it.
Just one week after the purchase, the check engine light came on. I contacted them more than 10 times, and every time they told me to “come back later” or “we’ll fix it next week.” Eventually, they just told me, “We won’t fix it. Take it to the manufacturer.”
The car has serious problems:
• It won’t pass emissions due to a bad oxygen sensor.
• The engine is weak, and oil had not been changed.
• The front axle is unsafe, making the car dangerous to drive.
They lied about the repairs, charged me $3,000 for nothing, and now refuse to take any responsibility. This is unacceptable and unethical business behavior.
I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Be careful and don’t believe verbal promises — get everything in writing. I’ve already filed complaints with the Virginia Attorney General and DMV.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the way your dealership has handled my recent car purchase.
I purchased the vehicle from your dealership in April of this year. On pickup, your team assured me that all necessary repairs had been completed, and your email even claimed you had “gone above and beyond.” That statement is completely false.
Despite adding an extra 3,000 [currency] to the total price—allegedly for repairs—none of the promised work was actually done. That’s not a mistake. That’s a deliberate act of deception.
Now, when I raise these issues, I’m being met with deflection and the suggestion that “too much time has passed” or that “it’s now my responsibility.” Let me be clear: that excuse is unacceptable. This was a pre-existing issue and a direct result of your failure to deliver on your word—not something that happened later.
Your dealership has shown a pattern of dishonest behavior:
• False promises
• Inflated charges for fake repairs
• Delivering cars in unserviced or poor condition
This is a warning to anyone considering buying a car from your dealership: I would never recommend you to anyone. In fact, I strongly advise others to stay away.
I expect a detailed explanation of the “repairs” you claimed to have performed, along with justification for the added cost. If I don’t receive a serious and honest response, I will escalate this matter through all available channels.

CASH! from the moment we arrived to when we left we were disrespected. told we could only look at 1 car at a time (weird, any dealer would want to give you options to make a sale) told they were going to get the car and it would be 10 minutes. 30 minutes go by and we were told “hes getting the car now, its on the way” to 1 hour later “the cars blocked in, were you interested in another car?” WHAT???? laughed at when I told them my downpayment, got glared at the entire time, and just overall a HUGE waste of time. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
