I have leased Kias from 3 different Kia dealers and so far this has been the worst experience. I am pretty sure my Kia Sorento is a lemon. That car has been nothing but problems since I got it. I have tol far this has been the worst experience. I am pretty sure my Kia Sorento is a lemon. That car has been nothing but problems since I got it. I have told the service department everytime. At first, because I didn't know how bad the problem was, I would just get the car there for oil changes and they would say nothing came up in the computer. But the last couple of times I have had to put my foot down to get the car checked and be given a loaner. In October of 2025, my car was at the dealership for 1 month and that is because I had to fight to get a loaner. I brought the car for service and was told they didn't have any loaners. I had to get mad and they suddenly found a loaner in the garage. After I got my car back, it continued having the same issues and more. The second time it took more than a couple of calls, close to 30 minutes on hold combined, unanswered emails to the service manager and a very upset voicemail without follow up, before I was able to speak to the service manager to get a loaner. What bothers me most is that, after explaining my situation, I was told that I could not get a loaner on the weekend because it wasn't good for the business because it would be a lost day. I am a paying customer, my needs should be important for the business. I finally got a loaner again, but the car was in the service department for just about a week and some things were done but they never recreated the problem, so nothing was really fixed. Additionally, I brought my car with a close to full tank and got it back with half a tank. I returned the loaner with an almost full tank. My car was clean going in and they clearly didn't vacuum it before giving it back. The car gets stuck in autoshut off, the alarm goes on and off all the time until the I close the windows. They are cracked about 2 inches, maybe an inch more. This happens randomly, you can not recreate the problem at will. The same thing happens with the autoshut off. The autoshut off problem is also very dangerous. It happens when I'm driving in heavy traffic or stopped at red lights. When I can't start the car back on, I have to put the car in park, turn it off and turn it back on. During this time, I have had cars fly by, yell at me, curse at me and more. I can feel the car shake because of the speed of other cars passing me and it puts my life and my family's lives in danger. And here I am again, waiting for them to answer my emails or give me a call. At this point I'm done with this car, Eagle Kia and Kia altogether. More
