It has been 18 days since I purchased a car from this dealership, and I still have not received the documents needed to obtain the vehicle title and register the car. During the purchase, I was requir dealership, and I still have not received the documents needed to obtain the vehicle title and register the car. During the purchase, I was required to take out a car loan. I was told that I could "pay it off tomorrow," but it actually took five days for the loan account to be set up before I was able to make the payoff. Meanwhile, the dealership withheld the documents I needed to register the vehicle. I have sent several emails and made numerous phone calls to request an update, but the dealership has not responded to either my calls or my emails. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, and I regret purchasing my car from this dealership. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to others. P. S. After I posted this review, I received a message from DealerRater saying that "Route 17 Mitsubishi has addressed your issue and is awaiting your satisfaction". But the dealer has not resolved my issue by sending the original signed vehicle title to either me or my insurance broker. What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of communication. Despite sending multiple emails and making numerous phone calls to ask for an update, I have not received any response from the dealership. I even contacted Mitsubishi America's customer service for assistance. I was told that the title documents would be sent out the following week. I waited an entire week, but the documents still have not been sent. This ongoing delay and lack of communication have made the entire experience extremely disappointing. More

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Route 17 Mitsubishi and would not recommend this dealership. Initially, I visited the dealership regarding a vehicle I was interested in, only to find that Mitsubishi and would not recommend this dealership. Initially, I visited the dealership regarding a vehicle I was interested in, only to find that the pricing and payment terms being presented were significantly different from what I expected based on the advertising. The entire experience felt lacking in transparency and left me with a negative impression. After deciding not to move forward, I continued to receive follow-up calls and messages from dealership staff. Most recently, I received a phone call from a salesperson who identified herself as Toni Wright. During that conversation, I attempted to explain my previous experience and concerns. Instead of listening professionally, she repeatedly interrupted me, asked if I was “done talking,” blamed my financial situation and credit, and ultimately hung up the phone on me. I found the interaction incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I then called the dealership and requested to speak with a manager. I was told one manager was unavailable and was transferred to another individual who identified himself as a manager. Unfortunately, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously, nor did I feel any meaningful effort was made to address the behavior of the salesperson. My concern is not that I was unable to purchase a vehicle. My concern is the lack of professionalism, respect, transparency, and customer service demonstrated throughout multiple interactions with this dealership. Consumers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of their financial circumstances or whether a deal is ultimately made. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to do their research before choosing to do business here. More

I would avoid this dealership like the plague! !! We needed a decent used car quickly due to our daughter's car being totaled and I thought going to a dealership rather go private would be the safe !! We needed a decent used car quickly due to our daughter's car being totaled and I thought going to a dealership rather go private would be the safer route...... WOW was I wrong!!!! When I went to pick the car up, they tacked on a $4,000 fee for a PDSI (pre-delivery service inspection) to be sure the is safe to drive. This also was not disclosed during negotiation. After leaving the dealership with the car I didn't get 5 miles and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree!!! They took it back 3 times and fixed what needed to be fixed including the rear brakes.....was that not inspected with a $4,000 inspection fee??? Then we finally get the plates and have to get the car inspected in NY and it fails inspection. The biggest issue was a bad tie-rod where the wheel could have fallen off!!!!! The sales department could not have been bothered, no recourse, all sales are final since this car didn't qualify under the lemon law. I will say the service manager Pete went above and beyond to help get the car in decent running shape. We also spoke to a few other customers in the showroom the day we finally got the car back and they said they thought there was some shady stuff going on in the sales department. You have been warned!!!!!!! More

So I walked into the dealership and was greeted by an amazing receptionist named Alexa. I was there to see the branch manger Tiffany so Alexa went to tell her I was waiting. While waiting I was approached by a few salesman asking if I needed help however none of them left an impression or a genuine feeling that they wanted to help me. Except one and he was also the first salesman to come up to me his name is Brandon and he had an amazing energy about him and he actually gave me the feeling that he wasn't just going thru the motions of his job. He gave me the feeling that it was like ge was saying to me "i will do everything i can to get you a car, im not gonna cheat you, and im not gonna try and dupe you" all in a greeting. I told him I was waiting for Tiffany and he just plainly said "thats amazing Tiffany is an amazing manager" and just added that if I need anything that he would be happy to answer any questions I may have while I waited. No pressure no disappointment when I told him no he just gave positive reinforcement to another employee, which in that business is rare, and then went about his day. That left me with a great feeling that I was in the right place and I felt welcome. While waiting for Tiffany Alexa talked to me and kept me occupied so it didnt seem like I was waiting long and she made me feel like a person that mattered not just a number. Greatly appreciated that. Tiffany came down spoke to me briefly about what I needed I explained and she said ok let me get someone to help you. The only one I wanted to help was Brandon so I asked for him. Once working woth Brandon I sat down told him exactly what I needed and that there was no wiggle room. I was honest with him and he was straight up with me. I thought it would be impossible to get me into a car that day but Brandon made it happen. He even went as far as to follow me home to drop my mother's car off and brought me back to the dealership so I could drive home in my new car. I was floored by the extra mile Brandon went for me and juat how he was focused on me and only me when we were working together. It wouldn't have mattered to him if someone walked in with 100,00 in cash and said I need 5 cars make it happen he wouldn't have even flinched. He is a stand up salesman and that is almost impossible to find these days. So thank you Brandon you are greatly appreciated and I will be seeing you for my next car and any cars I get from now on. Thank you Alexa for being the great personality right when I walked in you as well are an asset to the dealership. And Tiffany thank you for have these 2 employees on your team. Outstanding work guys and again thank you. More

Absolutely the shadiest, most unethical and uncaring dealer I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and I'm 70 years old. From the very beginning, where they added in a $4000 PDSI fee after I had already put down $2000 on a purchase agreement that said nothing about such a fee. To where they snuck in a phony $2000 fee for a service contract I did not agree to, and which turned out to be bogus. To the end, where a month after purchase and paying $400 for title/registration processing, I still have not received the title/registration, and the managers and my salesperson, Bill A, have ghosted me, avoiding my calls, and never returning them. I have open complaints with the NJ Motor Vehicle department, NJ Customer Fraud department, and NY Attorney Generals office. And after today, I will be forced to drive an unregistered vehicle. More

I am absolutely in love with my new 2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL! The vehicle is top-of-the-line, and the sunroof is a total game-changer.
