If I could choose negative -10 stars I would . . TERRIBLE would be a step up for their service department , I recently brought my 2021 GLE 53 AMG in for some software updates , and figured I woul . TERRIBLE would be a step up for their service department , I recently brought my 2021 GLE 53 AMG in for some software updates , and figured I would do a tune up while the vehicle was in for service .. Bob [ the service advisor send me a link the next day adding on $7000 more work , claiming the truck needed . Ok they got me I thought and progressed with the work , but did deny the $5000 new headlight [ not needed according to my private mechanic [ A near by Mercedes expert ] I was summoned last Monday that the truck was ready and running perfect . I left work early and departed from Newark , when I arrived I started the SUV and saw that the check eigne light was on .[ not on prior ] . How do you release an AMG like that ? Not happy I left without the truck . I was called 2 days later by Bob saying it was ready and no light on... I called to have a conversation with John the service manager 9:30 am , but told he was out at meetings ..I called again at 2:00 still out. When I arrived at 3:00 , Wow ! John magically appeared , After a brief conversation with Arrogant John , he offered me $500 off the bill .. laughable ! So I went to leave .. Guess what engine light is on ! I Then called Victor the GM who was present when I bought SUV from the old owners Contemporary Motors. Victor came over and apologized and was working on a valid solution . I left with a loaner . SUV was now guaranteed to be ready for Friday pick up .. When I called Victor he instructed me that the engine needs other parts , New coils & a emu control unit . Well yesterday that changed too , all of sudden does not need coils ... How about hiring certified mechanics that know how to work on an AMG engine He did deliver the truck to my house last night He also gave me a $2500 discount for inconvenience and hassle The Engine[ $7500 later is now sluggish ,,,AFTER A FULL TUNE UP And according to a look up on line the $2400 engine harness is covered under my CPO warranty . This is my 9th Benz ... For 10th guess where I won't be purchasing it ? More

Bob has been our Service Advisor for over close to a quarter of a century. Besides Mercedes we have other luxury vehicles.
