I brought my car into Ewalds for service because their schedulers told me I had a shot at getting a loaner that day. The first thing Bob told me was that they only give loaners for warranty work. I had pa schedulers told me I had a shot at getting a loaner that day. The first thing Bob told me was that they only give loaners for warranty work. I had passed up a closer dealer that does give loaners too, and my car was being towed, so that was a significant first strike. My car was already there though, and I wasn't about to pay for a second tow, so I had them look at it. They then turned and repeatedly lied through their teeth, trying to get me to replace an engine block that didn't need replacing. 1st I was told there was coolant in my cylinders and the cylinders were very scored. 2nd I was told that the spark plugs were soaked in coolant, and it would not have been worth the time to look any further for damage, so they just decided it needed an engine replacement. 3rd I was told my engine had seized. 4th I was told that there was so much coolant in the cylinders they couldn't even look for scoring, but because the coolant had gotten into the engine it had to be replaced. Luckily, I know enough about cars to know that coolant in the cylinders is not necessarily a death sentence for your car. Usually it just means you need a new head gasket and/or cylinder head. I brought my car to a small shop, where they cleaned out the cylinders and the car started right up. So for a quarter of the dealer's quoted repair cost, my car will be up and running again. Oh, and BTW, the cylinders are not scored, nor, obviously, had the engine seized. Ewalds did kill my battery though. More

Steve let us test drive the Jeep and, when we got back, it wasn't easy to hide the fact that we really wanted this vehicle. He came back with the numbers and then we got a bit skeptical. Being the great salesperson that Steve is, he could tell how bad we wanted this car and took the numbers to one a manager. The bank was called back and we were in the right price range. Sold. The vehicle was in great shape, the sales experience was spectacular, and the time it took to sign the papers, grab the keys, and go was next to nothing. More

Every time I had my oil changed I would have to return within a day or two because the drip plan would come loose and drag to which I was told was a common problem with the Ford F150 . Then one day my check engine light came on at around 75000 miles they said I needed spark plugs so I gave them the go ahead to change them. While out of town my wife picked up the truck after arriving back home we left on vacation only to find out that the air no longer worked and the radio and back up camera would go in and out. After returning fro vacation I went back with my new problems which I didn't have prior to them working on the truck only to be asked why didn't I take someplace while on vacation. They did nothing to fix or correct the problems that incurred while the truck was in their procession. We will never return to them again. Happy to say we now deal with Braeger Ford. More

Pleasant experience Awesome! I put a new engine in an Escape from xxxx, had to have towed to Ewald to have computer reprogrammed. Bob, the service writer we worked with, Awesome! I put a new engine in an Escape from xxxx, had to have towed to Ewald to have computer reprogrammed. Bob, the service writer we worked with, is a "car guy". Sure beats going into a place and have a service writer put "clunk bang clink" noise and then pass the work order to a tech. Bob was attentive, kept me informed of what was going on, even attempted to introduce me to the tech doing the repair. Nice to see, I've been in the car biz myself in one facet or another for 40 plus years, and all to often I've seen service writer$ simply take your name and a rough outline of your complaint. Thanks again , Bob.......you rock! More
