I recently brought my 2025 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition in for its first oil change and tire rotation at McGovern Toyota of Portsmouth, and the service was excellent. The dealership was dealing with a full internet outage, and I couldn’t get through at first, but Brad personally called me back and connected me with Sarah, a phenomenal Toyota Service Advisor, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Sarah immediately stepped in and handled everything despite the chaos of the day. She kept things organized, made sure my truck was taken care of, and stayed calm and professional throughout. After a day like that, she absolutely deserves to be recognized — and in my opinion, deserves a raise or serious consideration for a promotion. Brad also continues to be incredibly helpful. He picked out the perfect truck for me, always answers my questions quickly, and follows through every time. Outstanding customer service all around. I initially had a good experience with sales. Easy until the vehicle I was buying, a 2024 Tacoma Hybrid New, was found to have an issue or at least this is what the tech said so after I paid to Easy until the vehicle I was buying, a 2024 Tacoma Hybrid New, was found to have an issue or at least this is what the tech said so after I paid to register and insured the vehicle, the deal was cancelled after I was told that the tech could not figure out why it was not driving like it should. They offered to find a 2025. After 3 weeks, no truck but they said Toyota Engineers checked the truck I was buying and said no issues, would I like to take it. They were generous and offered a further discount. My complaint is pre-delivery. There was none. My salesman was not there to deliver it and the truck had less than 1/2 tank and tire pressure was 14 pounds over normal which indicates no pre-delivery. I complained to Toyota and got a call from Jeff. He said he would help me out with the fees I paid and get me a gas card. It has been 3 weeks and no call back. It is too bad when you spend $50K you cannot even have the vehicle delivered correctly. No one spent 5 minutes going over the truck. I will probably not refer anyone here and this could have been an easy fix. Being ignored did not help them More
