I recently had a disappointing experience at this dealership regarding service for my vehicle, specifically addressing a front-end shaking issue. During our phone conversation on October 3, I learned the initial diagnostic fee was $200, but there was no mention of a $139 package that included an oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection until I brought it up. Kameron, the associate I spoke with, seemed unaware of this package.After opting for the package deal, I received a call stating that no issues were found beneath the vehicle. However, Kameron recommended purchasing three new tires due to uneven tread wear, which he claimed could be contributing to the shaking. He suggested an alignment once the new tires were installed, but I hesitated to buy tires from the dealership given my concerns.When I picked up my vehicle around 2 PM on October 3, Kameron and I reviewed the work done, which included the oil change, inspection, and tire rotation. I paid the $134 fee, but a few hours later, I felt compelled to check the tire rotation, only to discover that it had not been completed. I have documentation for two recently replaced tires that confirmed their positions, contradicting the claim that a rotation was performed.On October 4, I reached out to Kevin to discuss this, and he mentioned he would check the service footage but has yet to follow up. I also recorded our conversation for reference.Given the lack of communication and discrepancies in the service performed, I am left feeling distrustful of the work done on my vehicle. I recommend potential customers document their vehicles thoroughly and communicate clearly with service personnel before proceeding with any service. More

I use to be a faithful customer to world kia to service my kia, one day they told me you need a new Engine, they kept the car for more than two months, after I took the car it wasn't running as it should, I completed and took it to service department again and each time they tells me something new, and still not running as it should be, I took it to get a second opinion and I'm told it was a rebuilt Engine even though my car is still under warranty, I got thrre to complaint but on the way I thought of something else is to trade it to a new car , I did but they pressure me to buy a mechanic warranty, the next day I filled a form for the cancellations, I emailed it 5 times with no response I called them and they said it went automatically to kia finance and it take time to be canceled, now 5 weeks later I called kia Finance in California headquarters of Kia manufacturer and finance, I'm told they have nothing to do with it, it's between you and world kia, Today I called kia management and I explained what kia finance told me , she said you have to read the contract and the cancellations form and it will take them 12 to 16 weeks to get a reply. I'll wait and if none happened I will take it to the next step which take them to court. This Dealer it's something else, please go all over the dealerships before you come to world kia. Don't buy or take you car to service there. Good luck More

They must pay for good reviews because this dealership is like a zoo. That’s because they’re all snakes. Hatim acts nice, but plays dumb. I gave him a $1,500 deposit on a 2021 Nissan Rogue. Go to get the car. Tells me he will be two minutes. Forty-five minutes later. Tells me the car isn’t there. Couldn’t offer up a decent explanation. The manager “Mo” was so rude about it. They sold the car despite my deposit holding it. They knew it was sold and didn’t care about my time or money. No quipped right away that he wants to show me a Jeep Cherokee. No wonder they didn’t tell me in advance the car was sold to another buyer. They still want my sale at all cost. I went to Thomas Nissan in Joliet and got a car in less than two hours. It was a Murano. Nicer than the Rogue I looked at with Hatim. AND, my monthly payment is $250 less than what World Kia quoted me. Mo and Hatim are the snakiest sales people EVER. More

Today Patrick of World Kia called me offering to buy my 2022 Kia Seltos. I did not want to sell. I did express my desire for a lower monthly payment. Patrick asked me to come in. I made the 29 mile drive from Lisle Illinois, to Joliet Illinois. I left World Kia Satiated with Joy, because the sales associate Patrick was Hungry, and reached out to me. As my income increases with my new CNA position, I will ever be loyal to World Kia of Joliet, IL. YPA Satisfied. More

I bought my 2018 Kia Optima at this dealership in 2018 when my Kia Forte at the time had an engine issue that required a new engine. I traded that one in and got the Optima. Unfortunately here I am 4 yea when my Kia Forte at the time had an engine issue that required a new engine. I traded that one in and got the Optima. Unfortunately here I am 4 years later with an Optima that has an engine problem. A problem Kia is well aware of, but apparently not willing to rectify. The car is burning 3+ quarts of oil every 2000 or so miles. It also has a light engine ticking noise. I have gone through multiple oil consumption tests and they have confirmed an engine issue, but Kia has said an engine is not covered at this time because I am at 114,000 miles. So they basically said I need a new engine and I would have to pay for it if I wanted to get it now or I have to wait until an actual problem (heaven forbid an accident) happens to have the extended engine coverage kick in. I know all of this is not on the dealership, but the lies when purchasing the vehicle (lifetime oil changes purchased in order to cover engine issues that now DON'T cover the engine issues) on top of the complete runaround of working through the oil consumption test only to find out the results don't help me get my engine fixed/replaced in any way have made this quite a miserable experience. I won't be buying a Kia again again and I really pray others (I already know there are a lot) don't have to deal with this in the future. I can't say I have been more disappointed in any other consumer process I have gone through in the past. This is at the very top of the list. Kia has lost a longtime customer (3 cars). More
