I am strongly disappointed in the way this dealership navigates their "as is" vehicles. I was unaware that this was an "as is" vehicle prior to meeting with them. It was not displayed on their advertisement and was not disclosed during our chatting prior to my 2 hour drive out there. The vehicle was not cleaned and had no evident maintenance efforts. I asked several people in the office if they could give me some information but they told me they don't do anything beyond an "inspection check" and "oil change" due to the age and mileage.. but I question that more now after learning they failed to do the oil change on this one. I was then directed to the financing room, I should have walked right out that front door. That was my mistake. Above all else, it's very disheartening that there is no way they weren't aware of this cars issues. They watched me drive off, knowing I had my small, medically fragile child in the backseat. This vehicle was all I had to transport to and from hospitals and appointments for my child. I didn't expect anything extravagant as I knew my budget was limited. Less than a week later, I learned the entire emissions system was failing, failing catalytic converter, evap system, malfunctioning fuel tank, and a dead battery. I now have a vehicle that needs over 3k in repairs and barely runs with no possible solution. I've lost my faith in humanity after this experience. More

Do not buy your next vehicle from Haley Automall in Farmville. Kiana was the only bright spot in the entire building. After wasting nearly 5 hours "calling around" for questions that should have been known to the staff in the building, the sales manager lied to me about the price of the vehicle stating that the lease rebate would be applied to the MSRP of the vehicle. Nonetheless, it was only down hill from there, the finance team repeatedly ignored my demands to remove all optional add-ons and the sales manager claimed my request would result in a discrimination lawsuit against him, which is simply incorrect. After childishly storming off multiple times while his finance team attempted to coerce me into buying optional add-ons by staring me down in silence the sales manager conceded that my demands were not impossible to satisfy as he had claimed. All in all, the atmosphere at Halley Automall is wholly unprofessional. If you enjoy the feeling of being in an interrogation room while trying to buy a car consider Haley Automall your best option, otherwise find a dealership who knows anything about the vehicles they are selling and cares at all about their customers.
