This is my second purchase of a Toyota vehicle from McDonald Toyota Greeley. In both cases, the sales person, Nekoda Jacobs, was excellent, very patient and helpful. He was very friendly, expiditiously worked through the purchase details, and answered my questions. Look, no used or new car dealership is going to be your friend. That's just a pipe dream. They're all "bad" to varying degrees. My experience with McDonald Toyota of Greeley was at least on the "less bad" friend. That's just a pipe dream. They're all "bad" to varying degrees. My experience with McDonald Toyota of Greeley was at least on the "less bad" end of the spectrum. Chad helped get us a good interest rate for financing, and we got the car we wanted. But! The car was terribly overpriced to begin with. McDonald was asking $10,690, plus $699 in dealer fees. The going blue book for the vehicle is in the $6,000~$8,500 range. Our credit union said it would only finance $5,000 for a vehicle of this year. We had to go with a different place, and financed $11,000 when all was said and done (including GAP insurance). Most likely, McDonald took in this vehicle as a trade-in and gave someone $6,000. Then it spent $1,000 in labor and parts fixing a few things. Then it marked it up 30%. We talked them down about $1,000, and they acted like we were really hurting their bottom line, but we all know that's a joke. McDonald probably made $2,000 minimum on this sale, for what amounted to less than ten man-hours of work. $200 is a very nice profit margin. I'd likely go back to look at other vehicles in the future, but buying a car always feels like you're getting ripped off. The only question is how badly. Everyone generally treated us well and acted friendly, but that's all expected when you're there to pay them a couple thousand in profit. More

A little mix up thinking the truck was available to look at and test drive but found out it was in Denver. The dealership had the truck brought up from Denver to the Greeley dealership for me to test drive. at and test drive but found out it was in Denver. This story starts out with a recall, schedule maintence that could have turned into a disaster but McDonald made it right and then went above and beyond. The recall was on brake lines and they handled eve that could have turned into a disaster but McDonald made it right and then went above and beyond. The recall was on brake lines and they handled everything like pros but there was a gasket that broke during install that in turn was allowing brake fluid to leak. My wife and nephews were on their way to school when the warning light for Low Brake Pressure came on. My wife was able to get to a safe place and the dealer made sure to get us a tow truck and Lyft to the dealer. They were able to fix the issue in a very short time. In turn we ended up trading that Tacoma in for a new used Tundra and Scott the GM and his team made sure we were taken care of and then some. I want to give a shout out to all involved, Scott, Edwin and Chad in Sales and then in Service Nicholas and Amanda as well. Lastly I also want to thank Brandon and Phil in parts with getting me set up with a bed cover. Thank you all for your help and you guys rock. More
