Mostly positive experience Alex was very pleasant to deal with, and I believe he was trying hard to create a deal that I would be pleased with. Downside was ages-old ploy of no Alex was very pleasant to deal with, and I believe he was trying hard to create a deal that I would be pleased with. Downside was ages-old ploy of not allowing salesman to have latitude in dealing: he had to keep running back and forth to his manager. It's time to put that one to bed and let your salesmen do their job! Almost walked away when I got the other time-worn line: "No, we can't do that--we'll just take it to the auction." In the end, I put out my offer and they accepted it. We are pleased with our new (although used) 2014 Captiva. Chris Lindelof More
