They didn’t want me to pay cash for the purchase, in fact they tried convincing me to finance the purchase. Also they tried to screw me out of $500’s. Cowen was very knowledgeable and was not forceful in his sale. I was also impressed with the various managers and all in all it was a painless process. I almost gave up on Hyundai‘s due to the Topeka service. It’s just not very good and I was losing confidence in the car. I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. Communication was terrible from the start. Before I paid for the car I was told they would fix a couple things we agreed on locally and r dealership. Communication was terrible from the start. Before I paid for the car I was told they would fix a couple things we agreed on locally and right after I paid was told it would actually have to be done there, the dealership was 2.5 hours from home. I reached out about my vehicle to get this work done and was promised a call back the same day with more information. That call never came. I followed up multiple times over the next nine months for things agreed to when I purchased the car, and each time I was told someone would get back to me shortly—still nothing. They were waiting on a part, so and so wasn't in the office, etc. there was always an excuse. It felt like I had to chase them down just to get basic answers. When I finally did speak with someone, they didn’t have any of the details I had previously asked for and seemed completely unprepared. This lack of professionalism and follow-through is unacceptable. After nine months, numerous phone calls and a new general manager (who was wonderful and the only one who seemed interested in handling this), I was finally able to get my car taken care of... only to have it delivered back to me at the wrong address in a different city. Right on par for how this entire experience went. Glad to finally be done with them. More
