Major engine work is never something a customer wants to go through. It can easily become stressful, uncertain, and frustrating. In this case, it was the exact opposite — because of Dan.
From start to finish, Dan demonstrated professionalism, transparency, and genuine care. He kept me informed at every stage of the process, explained the technical details clearly, and made sure I understood what was happening with my vehicle. He never rushed conversations, never dismissed questions, and treated the situation with the seriousness it deserved.
Most importantly, he advocated for me.
There were moving parts involving warranty coverage, updates to the long block and turbos, and ensuring the vehicle was returned fully sorted and properly handled. Dan made sure everything was addressed thoroughly. I never felt like “just another ticket.” I felt like a valued client.
Because of him, what could have been a negative ownership experience turned into something that reinforced my confidence in both INFINITI and the Roseville service department.
Dan represents what customer service in the automotive industry should look like: knowledgeable, communicative, accountable, and genuinely invested in doing the job right.

Thank you for the response. I want to emphasize that this wasn’t a routine service visit. I am extremely detail-oriented and very hands-on with my vehicles. I’ve done most of my own mechanical work in the past, so trusting a shop with something as major as a full engine replacement doesn’t come naturally to me.
I ask a lot of specific questions. I want to understand procedures, revisions, and updates. I know that can be demanding for a service advisor.
Dan handled every bit of it with patience and professionalism. He never brushed off my questions, never made me feel difficult, and maintained a great attitude throughout the entire process. That level of composure and transparency is rare.
Because of him, I walked away confident in both the work and the dealership.

The control arm in question was purchased independently and installed outside of our dealership. During inspection, our technician identified damage to the protective boot consistent with over-tightening during installation. Because the part was not purchased through or installed by our service department, we’re unable to process a warranty claim or assume responsibility for installation-related damage.
Manufacturer warranties do not cover improper installation, and we cannot warranty parts we did not sell or install.
If you would like our team to properly diagnose the vehicle or replace the component, we’re happy to provide an estimate and assist further.
