Overall I had a great experience with Walser Subaru. There was a lot of stress surrounding the purchase since this was my first time buying a car, but my sales rep Shalay Lay was amazing. I would rate h There was a lot of stress surrounding the purchase since this was my first time buying a car, but my sales rep Shalay Lay was amazing. I would rate him 6/5 if that was possible. He talked me through the process slowly and met me at my level. I also appreciated that he mainly spoke to me rather than my dad who I brought as backup. Purchasing a car as a woman can bring condescending attitudes from men but Shalay was patient, well informed, respectful, and kind throughout this process. I don't have much to say about the other workers as my interactions were brief, but they were all very kind and knowledgeable as well More

Racist. Went with a friend to buy a car. Salesperson brought in Mr. Epp. We said we'd arrange the money and my friend would be back in a couple hours with Went with a friend to buy a car. Salesperson brought in Mr. Epp. We said we'd arrange the money and my friend would be back in a couple hours with his checkbook. Perfectly fine with the old white guy there. When my friend returned by himself, they wouldn't accept his check. My friend returned the next day with a cashiers check and somehow they hadn't managed to get the title signed over and the person who signs off had "gone home" for the day. I had to return a third time and and harass them them to finally get the title handed over. More

Five star rating for everything, except the credit check process. It’s completely justified when a customer is financing their purchase. If, however, they’ve spent years saving up and have sufficient funds process. It’s completely justified when a customer is financing their purchase. If, however, they’ve spent years saving up and have sufficient funds to pay the full amount, a credit check should become irrelevant. A customer pays money for a product that a company is selling at a stated price. It’s pretty basic. Comedian Trevor Noah had a similar experience and even joked about it in one of his stand-up specials. That should tell car dealerships something. More
