Words cannot explain how grateful I am to have given my business to KIA COUNTRY after prematurely thinking I was going to give my business to a more aggressive dealership down in the Bay Area off the 580 t business to KIA COUNTRY after prematurely thinking I was going to give my business to a more aggressive dealership down in the Bay Area off the 580 that will woo you with their new showroom, massive inventory and even bigger sales game...Truthfully, I almost fell for it, but I always listen to my gut...After being taunted with typical sales tactics like "this price is only for tonight since we were slow," I left their showroom feeling unsettled about how things went down and tentatively agreeing on a car that wasn't fully what my 18 year old son wanted but was told by their staff that going premium was "way more in price" but failed to even try to show me the differences to convince me to upgrade my budget. After a poor night's sleep and waking up with the straight ICK, I opted to shop more local and check out the premium K5 GT Line that would've left nothing on the table for my 18 year old son's first car. Upon showing interest online, I was immediately contacted by David, who was a finance manager, but also on his day out of the office, which impressed the former salesperson in me. Upon telling him I was interested in buying there or (at the other Mouthpiece Dealership) he directed me to look for Sal and assured me I could contact him after my purchase about anything! I immediately caught that manifestation and quiet confidence that only true customer service could provide someone in such a competitive industry. David's simple yet earnest texts honestly gave me the push I needed to start another dealership experience again with the reassurance I needed to get the buying experience everyone dreams of let alone DESERVES! Upon driving to the dealership and meeting Sal, my son and I immediately found him be be a warm breath of fresh air in an industry filled with stuffy, suffocating foolishness! Just like the humble, unpretentious location of the dealership itself, Sal immediately felt relatable, relaxed and really, like UNC in the BEST way =) Sal's natural charisma and 30+ years of experience easily disarmed whatever anxiety and PTSD I woke up with and truly made our car buying experience easy-going and stress free! The truly great news is we ended up buying the exact car my son wanted for only $1200 more, with an even better interest rate than what the other dealership offered, and on top of that, we found out "THAT OTHER PLACE" lied about us getting approved through KIA financing and gave our loan to another bank (probably to get incentives for their dealership)...oh how I was xxxxxx when I found that out! Well, word did get back to them that I was no longer picking up that other car and boy did they change their tune and try to beat KIA COUNTRY'S price by $100. Ummm. No thanks! My sanity and trust could never be bought! Sal and his fellow team more than earned my business from start to finish! I have to shout out my guy Shawn too for making the dreaded paper signing stage such a joyful and memorable experience...from the Disney visuals to hilarious personal anecdotes, this first time car buying experience for my son is one for the ages and I encourage all of you in the market for a car to skip all the fancy pants dealerships in the Bay and just make your way down to KIA COUNTRY! You will be so glad you did! More

Everyone was willing to work with me and negotiate and never made me feel awkward when I would counter offer. I drove over an hour to visit this dealership and I'm glad I did.
