I came in around 6pm genuinely excited to look at a used car, but unfortunately, my experience was completely soured by the lack of professionalism from D'Angelo. From the start, I expected an engaging and car, but unfortunately, my experience was completely soured by the lack of professionalism from D'Angelo. From the start, I expected an engaging and informative interaction, but instead, I was met with indifference. D'Angelo barely acknowledged me, barely looked up from his phone, and with no real engagement simply pointed to a desk and said, “Just take a seat.” I waited for about 15 minutes while he showed no sense of urgency or customer focus, instead spending time chatting with coworkers. When he finally decided to help me, it became clear he hadn’t listened to anything I’d said earlier. This instead forced me to repeat all my needs, interests, and preferences from the beginning. To make matters worse, during this conversation he commented, “You look tired,” which felt inappropriate and unprofessional, especially considering the already frustrating experience. This was my first time stepping into a car-buying experience, and sadly, it left a bad impression. I don’t know if he was having a bad day, didn’t take me seriously as a customer, or simply lacks the training but this kind of service is unacceptable, especially in an industry that relies on trust, attentiveness, and professionalism.
