I would highly recommend Modern Motorcars!! Will Hatcher helped us and was great to work with!! I not only had a great experience but never felt pushed to make a decision. Very friendly staff and so very gl helped us and was great to work with!! I not only had a great experience but never felt pushed to make a decision. Very friendly staff and so very glad my friends referred me!! Thanks for a great experience! Update: The car we bought had transmission issues that showed within 3 months. They offered to repair anything at my cost and not at all willing to look in their records on what they did or how they took the car in. More

Modern Motorcars was a pleasure to work with. Buying a vehicle long distance during these difficult times is tough enough. Don set my mind at ease and provided me with any and all requests I asked of him - photos, videos, etc. The purchase process was smooth and easy. Most unprofessional sales experience I've had I had engaged the dealership to discuss a car found on CarGurus. We had chatted over a period of a couple weeks, asking questions, learning about the I had engaged the dealership to discuss a car found on CarGurus. We had chatted over a period of a couple weeks, asking questions, learning about the vehicle, agreeing on price. Ultimately, we landed on an offer, I committed, and asked the dealership to let me know what to send - license, insurance, payment, etc, and purchased a flight to come out to pick the vehicle up. By the next afternoon, the dealership 'forgot' they had agreed to sell me the vehicle and sold it to someone else. The dealership then proceeded to ghost me for the day - not responding to texts, etc, until I finally called to figure out what was going on. When I could finally get in touch, I spoke with the owner - who simply noted they screwed up, but they would look into it. The dealership again ghosted me for another day - not responding to texts, calls w/messages, etc. When I finally got back in touch with the 'owner', the story was the same - sorry about our ineptitude. Shoppers beware: - Dealership isn't buttoned up basic processes - which means they're likely to mess up / miss something in the larger process that will affect either your buying or ownership of a vehicle - When the dealership begins texting you, you are not always talking to the same person. This means you're likely to get the runaround when you think you've agreed to something with one person - Nothing 'modern' about their processes - just like working with those old-school used car dealers we've all dreaded engaging. Look for a franchise dealer or Carvana if you want a modern & accountable experience. More

Nightmare Experience. SUV in shop soon after purchase. We purchased an SUV for our daughter and the car has been in the shop ever since. She drove it less than 500 miles before it left her stranded on the We purchased an SUV for our daughter and the car has been in the shop ever since. She drove it less than 500 miles before it left her stranded on the interstate one evening. We had it towed to a mechanic and he said there are numerous issues with the engine and transmission and it did not just happen in the few weeks she drove it. The transmission is shuddering and smells like it is burning. Also an oil gasket leaks, the AC is no longer cold and the lights are dim which he said could be alternator issues. Waiting on the bill now. Like I said, a nightmare and will be very costly. More

Don Hunsaker is not a man of his word. He is a true con-man. Beware. Go somewhere else. I was purchasing a truck from them. We had agreed on a price. We agreed on a location. Carole did my finances con-man. Beware. Go somewhere else. I was purchasing a truck from them. We had agreed on a price. We agreed on a location. Carole did my finances and we agreed on a term. All this was on May 1, 2020. Everything was set and Carole was suppose to email me the purchase papers for me to e-sign. This was May 1, 2020 at 6:58pm. I never received the papers that night, so I emailed them Saturday morning and didn't hear anything. I contacted Don that following Monday by phone saying I haven’t received the purchase papers for me to e-sign. He texted back. "I have some bad news. A local customer had also been looking at this truck and pulled the tripper on Friday night. I'm terribly sorry about this". Don't say I didn't warn you. Beware, go to another dealership. More

We trusted them to be upfront and honest because we purchased a vehicle from over 600 miles away. Upon arrival of the car it had immediate issues (issues immediately driving off the delivery truck!) th purchased a vehicle from over 600 miles away. Upon arrival of the car it had immediate issues (issues immediately driving off the delivery truck!) that are now costing us upwards of a thousand dollars. The vehicle’s issues are so severe we are unable to drive it until getting it fixed (and that’s hoping the mechanic doesn’t find any additional issues!) We are extremely upset as we were very aware it was a used vehicle but asked upfront if it had any mechanical issues or any blemishes we should know about (we were told NO it’s in great condition). The vehicle has some other issues as well in regards to wiring problems! I’m at a loss for words for how badly this went. We haven’t even had this vehicle long enough to have the TITLE! We chose this dealer because of their positive reviews. Major regrets. Steer clear if purchasing from long distance. More
