Infinity Gwinnett has very low standards. I was very disappointed in this dealership. I purchased a preowned vehicle at Infinity Gwinnett. The vehicle I was interested in purchasing had I was very disappointed in this dealership. I purchased a preowned vehicle at Infinity Gwinnett. The vehicle I was interested in purchasing had not been cleaned; I was told would be detailed prior to the day of delivery. I was selective about the dealerships I shopped at given purchase of preowned can have many potential pitfalls. I felt confident in the Infinity brand and did not expect what happened. My pre-purchase concerns revolved around cleaning. I was pleased with the overall condition of the vehicle. My concerns included an unidentified repugnant odor which I was confident would be cleared once detailed. What was explained to me was that bird droppings had fallen on the vehicle, and it was that or sap that had gotten on the hood and would be easily cleaned. The carpet on the driver’s side needed a deep clean with what appeared to be a spill and that too would be addressed. I was unconcerned about the cleaning of the vehicle and consummated the sale based on what I thought was the integrity of the Infinity brand. I purchased the vehicle with this understanding and again confidence in the luxury Infinity brand and awaited its delivery. After I signed the paperwork and formally purchased the vehicle, the salesperson brought it back to me. It appeared it was run through a quick wash. None of the issues were addressed to my surprise. The bird droppings left dings in the metal (that one heck of a bird) and I had to push back on latent structural damage which I knew could be cured and would be cured by a reputable company. I rejected the e outcome and pointed out the areas of deficiency. The salesman said it would be addressed. The body guy would take care of the minor dings and the detail would take care of the rest. Gwinnett. I never heard from them, reached out to the sales manager to get her to take a look as the salesperson was relatively new and inexperienced – so I thought. She was surprisingly disinterested. Bad day perhaps? After five business days of no contact, I went to the dealership and found the body guy had come. The dings on one side were addressed and the dings on the opposite side of the hood had not. Both the same, not sure why one side was, and one side was not - but ok. Same body guy, could fix one side but not the other? The car had not been buffed to smooth out the fine scratches. The carpet had not been cleaned. The odor was masked only (and poorly) and reeked from beneath the masking. If the vehicle had detailed and cleaned the carpet, there would not have been a need to mask - period. No buffing was done, the fine scratches remained. My salesperson was not available, and the receptionist reached out to the sales manager who promptly hung up on her. Twice!! I thought this bad mood was having a serious hangover. In other words – she was not at all helpful and declined to trouble shoot even though she was in her office. The decision I made was to identify my concerns and determine if they could be cured. They could be cured – but I was told they could not be. My expectation of Infinity was much higher than the actual experience and the brand now reeks in my head as loudly as the odor in the vehicle which I was successful in alleviating. I do not recommend this dealership or the brand as I am not sure why they felt so comfortable in delivering me a car that I paid full price for in such deplorable and curable condition. Buyers beware, any preowned vehicle should be in immaculate condition prior to being delivered to the new owner. No smells, carpet cleaned, buffed to shine as best it can and issues addressed as promised. I did not get it put into my contract so they gave me a car that I had to have detailed, cabin filter replaced to address the odor and buffed at my own expense. This is not typical of a luxury brand. Just know-do not assume brand integrity. Protect yourself. Better yet, go to a different dealer. More
