Friendly, courteous, and professional service advisors, but I'm incredibly frustrated with the how the service department handled my 2021 Palisade that developed the known engine problem with carbon buildu but I'm incredibly frustrated with the how the service department handled my 2021 Palisade that developed the known engine problem with carbon buildup. There is a process to get the engine replaced under the powertrain warranty, which begins with an oil consumption test. The initial oil replacement is part of the warranty and is paid for by Hyundai. I was charged for the oil change, and then told after the 1000 miles that the car was not consuming excessive oil. Well, turns out that it was. Constant check engine light problems with no resolution. Inability (or lack of desire) to aggressively pursue what should be Hyundai extended warranty work (the full Hyundai warranty wrap that covers about everything up to 114k miles was purchased). Paid out of pocket for repairs that should have been covered. Known issue regarding suspension wear that would have been warrantied within 36k miles - I was told there was no problem until after that mileage passed, then they recommended replacement of a rear shock at my cost. Failure of a rear backup sensor that should have been covered under warranty - told it was corrosion that caused it and corrosion isn't covered. I wound up trading the vehicle in on a new 2025 Palisade with a different dealer. Hoping to have better luck with the 2025, as my family and I love our Palisade, but I'll look for service at a different Hyundai dealership. More

I got to my appointment and that is when the associate told me I need to make a separate appointment for those other things. I wanted to have someone look at my alignment as my tires squeal anytime I’m just backing up and turning my wheels, the charging port on my council gets extremely hot and my drivers side floor mat needs to be fixed. The snap broke that holds the mat in place. More

Walser got my Tucson in on short notice and their service department is top notch! I knew exactly what was going on with my car because of the excellent communication and even a slick video that the mechanic department is top notch!
