When I made my appointment, I told the phone representative that we would be gone during the week the 24 month free oil change and check up expired and he said it would be OK to come in the foll representative that we would be gone during the week the 24 month free oil change and check up expired and he said it would be OK to come in the following week and they would still perform that work at zero cost. I gave him my VIN number and everything. When II arrived at the dealership, a representative proceeded to show me a piece of paper saying that the oil change would be $96 plus the cost of the tire rotation. I then told him I was a week late, but his phone rrepresentative said the zero charge would be Honored. On arrival the on site rep asked when we bought the vehicle and I told him. He left and said he would be right back and after he returned he said there would be zero charge. So this was kind of an unpleasant experience in my first few minutes at the dealership as we had recently moved from NW Iowa to the Des Moines area. The service work done in their shop to the vehicle was fine. However, the $96 for an oil change is about $30 more than it should be. In fact the dealership we purchased the vehicle from gives a $20 discount on oil changes from their regular price of $66, for buying the vehicle from them. More
