So here is the quick version, Eric ( my sales person ) and the sales manager Will were the absolute best. They did for me what no one else could. From the very beginning to the very end they did right by and the sales manager Will were the absolute best. They did for me what no one else could. From the very beginning to the very end they did right by me, and truly earned my business. In about another year I will need to buy another new vehicle and I look forward to working with Eric and the Pinebelt team again. Now if you care to read the long version, here it is. I have spend my entire professional career thus far ( 19 years ) working in the service departments of several car dealerships. Needless to say I know the business very well. Like all business their are good honest professionals and then their are those who give all of us a bad name and reputation. Eric and the team at Pinebelt Chrysler are by far very professional, honest, and upstanding. Here is how they truly earned my business. Back on 1/6/24 I began looking for a very specific family friendly vehicle. The vehicle manufacture for whom I am currently employed does not make or offer this type of vehicle. As a person in the industry I knew exactly what I wanted and exactly what would be a fair and reasonable price for that product. ( we all go to work everyday to earn a living and provide for ourselves and those important to us ) Searching on line I found several dealers which had a used vehicle that met my needs. ( this was around 1/14/24 ) I spend the next several weekends ( and some evenings after work) visiting many many dealership. At everyone of these dealers the vehicle met my needs but the staff and the dealership as a whole was unwilling or unable ( usually due to ego and/or incompetence ) to do the needed “work and effort” to earn the sale. Suffice it to say that by the end of February 2024 I had spoken with ten different dealers, and actually traveled to and looked at seven different vehicles. I was not going to be pressured or bullied into buying a vehicle. ( Keep in mind I never told anyone what I did for a living. I did not want to be treated any differently ) By the 2nd week of March I had spoken to another three dealers and looked at another two vehicles. Now, I met Eric ( and Will ) at Pinebelt Chrysler ( Dealer # 14 and Vehicle # 10 ), and they got to work. They listened to what I had to say. They appreciated that I knew a tremendous amount about the product, And the MOST important thing which set them apart from all the rest is that they were willing to consider that I might know something which they did not. Prior to this moment, for almost 3 months, a total of about 1500 miles driving to dealerships up to 125 miles away from where I live, all I had heard was either someone telling me whatever they think I wanted to hear to make the sale, OR someone telling me I had no idea what I was talking about and what I was saying was impossible. In conclusion I was NOT an easy customer to work with. In the 3rd week of March I took home my new Vehicle. I waited this long to post my review because even after Pinebelt had my sale they still owed me several things. I can honestly say, everything that was promised me was delivered on and all within the time frame that we had agreed on. Again Eric is the best, and like I said previously in about a year I will be buying another vehicle and I look forward to working with Eric and the Pinebelt team again for that purchase. More
