Poor customer service for manager years. Nothing’s changing after talking to the dealership or Acura customer service. Final straw is no honoring the $49.50 service coupon. We were asked to return our vehicle for a recall we were told it would take a couple days and they would give us a car similar to what we were driving. dropped our mdx off on Thursday. Gentleman told us it told it would take a couple days and they would give us a car similar to what we were driving. dropped our mdx off on Thursday. Gentleman told us it should probably be Monday afternoon gave us a much smaller RDX , but it was new and we were just driving to work and back. . Anyway once we pulled out of the dealership we realize our distance to empty was 2 miles so we immediately stopped and filled it up with gas. No one had serviced it since its last use. We drove it home and on the drive home we noticed foul smell. Weren’t sure why it would have that kind of a smell with only 2000 miles on it. We Parked for the night. I drove it to work smell still pretty bad, second day I drove it to work Smell really bad parked it in the garage and didn’t drive it again until it’s return to the dealer. We found an old cat carrier in the back of car and was soiled so it was source of aroma. Took it out but didn’t drive it. I called the dealer on Monday to verify my car would be completed that afternoon and was told that it would probably be more like Tuesday as it was still not yet on the rack to be repaired. I waited until Wednesday as I had not heard back from the dealer to verify the car was ready. I was then told that it would be Thursday And they would call me when it was ready. Thursday evening rolled around I called. I believe they had already closed so I left a message. Friday I had not heard back so I called and was told it would be ready around 4 o’clock on Friday. Note that not one time was I contacted by the dealership. Every contact was instigated by me. I understand things happen and it may take longer than anticipated. However, a simple phone call would have eliminated my need to constantly track where my car was as I was being told it would be ready and it was not. My vehicle ran fine once we got it back. I was told that they did have to do a repair of the rod bearings and that was the reason for the delay. They could’ve told me that on Tuesday and I would’ve understood. I have no complaints with the Mechanical staff. I just feel a little bit of management would go a long way and it is my hope that the mechanic that performed the repair is better at his job than the management of the service department. More

Extremely poor communication from the service department with the buyer. Very aggressive to complete a same day trade in/sale of new car then took over a week to service the new vehicle and deliver it to us with the buyer. Very aggressive to complete a same day trade in/sale of new car then took over a week to service the new vehicle and deliver it to us. Then weeks later we continue to get messages that our vehicle is ready for pick up. Our salesman was great and did his best to help with our many service frustrations. We love the Acura MDX but will not be buying any future vehicles from Grubbs. We never had a negative experience in the past when the dealship was Don Carlton. What has happened?! More

Great experience at Grubbs! Dylan, our salesman, was attentive, knowledgeable, and a breath of fresh air. Within moments it was like talking to an old friend.
