Worst service don't tell me indont trust them anymore. I was told i needed new Rotors and brakes when I took it for a second opinion my brakes were just fine. My road is just needed to be clean. This is the second time this happened to me. I was told nothing is needed at first, and then when I brought it back for oil chain, miraculously not something is needed. More

I had to have my brand new 2025 Traverse that I bought from here towed back after the power brakes stopped working while it was being driven on a highway and as a result almost was involved in a crash. This is not the dealers fault obviously but throughout the whole process of the warranty work done here, I did not receive any updates unless I called or texted multiple times (with the exception of towards the end of dealing with this after I informed them Chris never contacts me back and dealing with only Greg). Chris was my service advisor and clearly he fails to provide the customer updates on their warranty work based on the number of times I called or texted and got no response back. He tried to xx me initially saying “a senior technician needed to be dispatched” to initially look at the vehicle for over a week of it sitting there not being touched when in reality I know all that needed to be done was for it to be plugged into the OBD2 reader and a simple test or two by a qualified technician; this delayed parts being ordered and the timeline of work being done. Chris’s poor customer service and updates made me feel like this dealership doesn’t care about warranty work being done (from the dealer it was purchased from) compared to customers paying for oil changes and things of that nature. I was initially given a smaller class vehicle as a loaner even though I was still making a payment on my traverse until I raised an issue after a couple weeks of calling to get an update which seemed unfair considering I was still paying for a traverse but driving an equinox; this was fixed but not until I had waste more time to call back to speak to Greg. To top everything off, when my vehicle was finally fixed for the brake issue under warranty and I came to pick it up, there was a scratch down to the bare metal on the door that wasn’t there before I dropped it off (clearly it got scratched while the vehicle was in their possession). Greg initially said I had to bring the vehicle back on a Friday to be repaired (yet another inconvenience to me). I brought it back, however that attempted fix only made it worse after they had someone there from dent wizard to fix it. Greg thought it being “95% better” even though it was 100% worse because now appeared to have a dent in it that wasn’t there that morning when I dropped it off was okay for a new vehicle with less than 2,000 miles on it according to him. Only after I got extremely mad after being quite reserved up until this point of the vehicle being there for almost 2 months to be fixed under warranty and now this scratch being fixed like garbage did Greg have it arranged for me to be inconvenienced yet again to bring it back and have it brought to a body shop to be fixed 100%. Why that wasn’t the first plan to fix this scratch issue blows my mind after he looked at it when I initially showed them and he saw how deep the scratch was. I could give a lot more detail about this experience but it’s not worth my time. Regardless of everything getting fixed at the end of the day finally after a ton of phone calls, headaches and inconveniences on my part, it’s safe to say I will never be returning to Richard Lucas Chevrolet due to this ridiculous experience with their subpar service department. I will also be telling all my friends and family to never use this service department as well after this terrible experience. More
