As we discussed, I understand your concern about the deductible charged by the outside warranty provider and your belief that the Toyota powertrain warranty should have been utilized. After reviewing the situation with our service team, it appears the nature of the repair fell outside the scope of what Toyota’s powertrain warranty typically covers, which is why the third-party warranty was applied. I understand this was unexpected and disappointing, especially given the low mileage and condition of your vehicle. We’ve taken your comments seriously and are using them to improve our communication around warranty coverage and repair options moving forward. Your experience matters to us, and while we regret that we didn’t meet your expectations this time, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
