Purchased a 2022 Denali from them last year for 85k. They low balled on my trade (2021 Silverado High Country 2500hd with 13k miles). As I wanted the new truck and there weren't many available within 50 They low balled on my trade (2021 Silverado High Country 2500hd with 13k miles). As I wanted the new truck and there weren't many available within 500 miles I accepted their trade offer of 65k. This year I had planned on returning to Greg Lair to purchase a loaded 2023 Sierra Denali 2500hd. I was told that they would only give 65k for my 85k truck. That was the KBB estimate for a vehicle in fair condition. My truck is at least in the very good category. Before they made me an offer for my trade they requested details about what type of options my trade had including the type of engine. Shouldn't they have all the details on my trade already? After all they sold me truck new 11 months ago. I guess they don't keep records. The sales advisor also strongly suggested that I go with one of the financial institutions they use and I quote, "I make a little money if you use one of them, 3 or 4 hundred dollars more". Long story short, I came across a near identical truck and I received a signed and written trade offer of $74,500 for my trade. $9500 more than Greg Lair offered. I will be picking up my new truck tomorrow from the other dealership. I felt like I was more than fair with Greg Lair this time around. I didn't demand they match the other dealerships offer. I politely ask if the could come close. It's sad because I drove over 400 miles to purchase my last truck from Greg Lair and bragged them up to everyone I talked to. .............and this is the way they treat their customers? Never again Greg Lair! More
