I gave one star in this review because we had a good experience with our Schomp salesmen, Jeff Hanson. Thank you Jeff. As far as the rest of the experience I would like to push caution to potential futu experience with our Schomp salesmen, Jeff Hanson. Thank you Jeff. As far as the rest of the experience I would like to push caution to potential future buyers. I had recently bought a 8 year old truck from Schomp. Before buying we had a 3rd shop overlook the truck and send me a report. A report came back from Christian Bros calling for over $5,000 worth of repairs needing to be done. Schomps recon department denied that most of these repairs really needed done, come to find out after recieving the vehicle that was not true. Schomp recon said " no the transmission fluid isnt dirty at all an no there is no play in the ball joints" Guess what ? Dirty transmission oil and worn ball joints. I just dont understand why they didnt just take care of the small things that needed done instead of blatantly lying to my face about it to make a sell. We feel like we were taken advantage of. Schomp and I discussed it and came to an agreement that not all but some of the repairs would be done. My request was to at the very least have everything thats a safety concern fixed and I will take care of the rest.Well here we are a couple of weeks later and no response from Schomp in the matter. Looks like this mistake will have to come out of my pocket, I urge you to not make the same mistake. More

I bought a pre-owned warranty for the hybrid system on a car I purchased one year ago. Salesman guaranteed this would cover “the plug to the batteries”. Recently I had an error when I tried to charge my c car I purchased one year ago. Salesman guaranteed this would cover “the plug to the batteries”. Recently I had an error when I tried to charge my car. That aside, it was functioning without difficulty. The fix was NOT covered under the warranty, it was a battery that "communicated" with the hybrid system, not the hybrid system itself. I will never buy another car there, I will try to find a place with trustworthy and honest people. More

Awful from start to finish I was so disappointed in my experience with this dealership. I had heard great things and was so excited when I found two cars I was interested in lis I was so disappointed in my experience with this dealership. I had heard great things and was so excited when I found two cars I was interested in listed online. I contacted the dealership and set an appointment to test drive the cars I was interested in. On the day of my appointment I got a text from Jeff saying he wasn’t going to be able to make it but the cars were out and ready for me to drive. He also gave me the name of his manager, Jeff Englert and said he’d cordinated with him. We drove 70 miles and when we got to the dealership we were greeted by a sales rep, I don’t remember his name...maybe Greg or Chad? He took us to a room and we showed him the cars we were interested in on the website. I also mentioned we had been working with Jeff Hansen and also his manager Jeff Englert should be familiar with our request. He left us sitting in the room for 20 minutes while he looked for the cars. He came back and said one was having the center consul repaired and he couldn’t find it and the other had just been brought in and was not ready to drive, but we could look at it. We let him know we’d just driven an hour and a half to see (and hopefully buy) these cars and his only reply was a half hearted apology and sent us on our way. Not even an effort to show us other available cars or ask why we were interested in those, just sorry and see you later. So we left and I decided to call the manager in a last ditch effort to allow them to make things right. I left a voicemail for him letting him know I had a bad experience and asking for a call back. No call back, this was 5 days ago. I also texted Jeff Hansen to let him know we had arrived at our appointment time and neither car was available. He offered to bring a car to me on Friday, which was nice so I told him if he’d do that I’d still consider doing business with him. That was the last text or communication I received. The whole experience left a terrible tasted in my mouth. I took my business to another dealership and am now totally satisfied with my new car. More
