They were very prompt getting me in and out. I did have an issue with my back tailgate glass. I asked them to look at it after the effect I was charged $229 and was told that they had to update I did have an issue with my back tailgate glass. My situation was taken care of with positive results. I was given information options and was overall satisfied with the results. I am enjoying the fact now that I have a new car and no more worries. Told me the truck I bought "only had hail damage and a spot on the driver's side of the bed that the body shop was rubbing out." OK. Sounds ok I can deal with that. They also said, "the airbags were not d spot on the driver's side of the bed that the body shop was rubbing out." OK. Sounds ok I can deal with that. They also said, "the airbags were not deployed." OK. Fine. I signed to purchase the truck. While signing the paperwork, I was told, "the truck qualified as a certified preowned vehicle." Great. I was also told, "because of this I had 1000 miles or 14 days to cancel the sale/contract for any reason according to Ford's policy on certified pre owned vehicles." OK great. I left with the vehicle and went home. The next morning I went to get groceries. While putting them in the back seat, I noticed that there was only one '4x4' sticker/decal on the bed. Being curious, I looked closer and determined that the paint on the passenger side was pristine while the paint on the driver's side showed 4 years of weathering and wear. Lookingvfurther I noticed, the headlights and grill are new with no weathering or wear at all.. I decided to look it up on Carfax. Come to find out, it was listed as having minor to moderate damage. I was informed about the Hail damage and the blemish on the driver's side but NOT the rest of it. I understand that I should have done my due diligence before hand. However, the Carfax report was inaccurate according to the actual 'repairs' on the truck. I tried to call the salesman to question him about it. But, there was no answer and he didn't return my call. I decided to drive to the dealership to get answers. Upon arrival the salesman told me that I was told about the damage. I assured him that I was NOT told about EVERYTHING. The GM asked if this was my signature, referring to the Carfax. I said yes bt it wasn't correct, not all the damage was reported. I didn't and still don't feel comfortable about the entire deal. I asked for my money back and to cancel the deal (seeing that it was less than 24 hours since the paperwork was done and we'll within the 14 days and 1000 mikes). The manager told me, "that's not going to happen." I tried to point out the damage/repairs but the gm just didn't understand and refused to grant my return request. I also did NOT receive a copy of the Carfax report, I had to purchase my own. The report I purchased turned out to be the same as the one at the dealership. But, as I stated before, it is inaccurate. It does NOT include the damage/repairs on the bed on the passenger side of the truck. Nor does it include the area on the driver side that the salesman pointed out to beging with. I had also paid a $500.00 'deposit' to hold the vehicle until I made a decision to buy it or not. The GM refused to return my deposit. A different salesman told me that on Monday he would had them "cut a check and he, personally, would put it in my mailbox." Well, As of Monday, no check and now, Thursday, no check and no sign of it being deposited back into my account. Alpine Ford is NOT honoring the parent company Ford's certified pre owned return policy nor returning my deposit. I'm disillusioned with them and upset that I was lied to on several occasions and my $500.00 is not returned, basically stolen. Alpine Ford lost a customer in me. I would rather drive 45 miles to Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs or drive 2 hours to Denver and have several options other than Alpine Ford. Even for service, I refuse to go here. I was cheated, scammed and lied to as well as ripped off of $500. My advice: DO NOT go to Alpine Ford. DO NOT trust them, they are liars and thieves. More
