Service manager refuses to call back after many attempts trying to reach him. When he doesn't pick up, the switch board asks if you would like to leave your name and number and he will call you back. Communication is key. I was told that they texted me in the computer system that my truck was ready. I didn't receive a message. They tell me that system doesn't work half the time. I even showed them my phone so they could see for themselves. My truck was filthy dirty when I received it back. The hood and lower cowl of the front windshield looked like someone spilt yogurt all over it. The porter who pulled up my truck just got out and walked away. The seat was so far forward I could hardley get in. He looked about as miserable as a person can be, at least try and fake a smile. I got out of there as fast as I could to go and my truck washed. What ever that stuff was all over my hood was really hard getting off. I wonder how much damage to the paint will occur? More

While the truck did take slightly longer than originally planned, Joe got me taken care of. Most concerns addressed, one issue outstanding that we will keep our eye on if it becomes a bigger issue. My truck was towed in due to a lightening strike, of all things. It was delivered on a Thursday afternoon, and sat for a week. No communication and nothing being done. This was an insurance claim. Knowing things. It was delivered on a Thursday afternoon, and sat for a week. No communication and nothing being done. This was an insurance claim. Knowing a little how car dealerships/service departments work, this was not going to make money for the dealership. Lightening strikes are virtually write-offs every time. Instead of clearing the vehicle by spending an hour, they let it sit for a week. Finally on the next Thursday, my insurance adjuster went into the dealership, in person, and prompted them to do something. Low and behold, inside of 2 hours I had what I needed for the insurance to continue with the claim. This illustrates exactly what we all think of dealerships and their service departments, only out for the big $$$. If the job doesn’t make them a lot of money, you get lousy service. On the flip side of all this, Joe Platt was the single bright light. When I went in to remove my plate, he took time to drive me out on a golf cart. Also, he talked to me with no pretenses or hidden agenda. More
