I visited DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM on Saturday, September 20th with my cousin. We were both serious buyers and interested in purchasing two trucks. Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. While I didn’t see anything I liked in their inventory, my cousin found a truck he was interested in. It even had a dent on the front passenger fender, which they assured us could be fixed , that part was fine. The issue came during the financing process. With my cousin’s 740 credit score and a $20,000 down payment, we expected competitive financing. Instead, they tried to give him 7.9% interest with only partial rebates, which made no sense given his excellent credit. When I asked Jonnie if that was the best deal they could do and why we weren’t getting closer to 3.9%, his response was: “You guys already have took my pants off.” We were nothing but respectful and serious the entire time, so hearing a comment like that was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. To make things worse, the general manager, Tom, wasn’t helpful either. He made a comment about maybe calling in a “favor” to get us $10–$15 off a month but said he didn’t want to waste his favor unless we were 100% buying the truck. That’s not how you treat serious customers. Here’s the kicker: the truck we ended up buying at Tyson Motors in Shorewood was the exact same match as the one we looked at here, and the bank we financed through was the exact same bank both dealerships recommended (Stellantis) . The difference? Tyson Motors gave us ALL the rebates AND 3.9% financing for 72 months, while DuPage tried to keep a bigger cut for themselves. The Tyson deal saved my cousin over $7,200 total which is $100 off per month compared to what DuPage offered. This review is to help future buyers: if you want a dealership that is straightforward, professional, and doesn’t play games with financing, go somewhere else. Based on our experience, I would not recommend DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. Because of how well we were treated, I will now be purchasing my 2026 RAM 2500 with Matt and Aaron at Tyson Motors — they truly earned my business. More
