Arrogant advisers in service department Second experience with service department. First time, a scheduled (appointment) oil change took 2 hours and 10 minutes. Second time, concerns with Second experience with service department. First time, a scheduled (appointment) oil change took 2 hours and 10 minutes. Second time, concerns with 4 wheel drive (and another oil change, but I left it overnight as I do have a day job!). Adviser wrote incorrect information (stated something was in owners manual when it was was not) and discarded written information from GM on actual operation - just arrogant, knows better without actual facts. Good buying experience, miserable service experience. AVOID More

Excellent Service--Thanks, Paul Hardegree I would like to commend Mr. Paul Hardegree for his patience and professionalism. I have a long history with Southtowne and I am continually impressed I would like to commend Mr. Paul Hardegree for his patience and professionalism. I have a long history with Southtowne and I am continually impressed with the consistency of their service. It is always a delight to do business with this company. In the absence of Larry Rooker, my go-to-person in the Service Department at Southtowne, Mr. Hardegree is to be commended for his patience and professionalism. I stressed patience because I waffled on whether or not my vehicle needed a catalytic converter due to past issues with other shops misdiagnosing problems or creating problems that do not exist with my vehicle. On several occasions, in the past, I have found that other service centers often claim there is a major problem with my vehicle only to find out that there was not. This was not the case with Southtowne. I only questioned the diagnosis because of a number of other issues, to include the fact that (1) the engine light initiated at impact with the curb of a sidewalk and (2) I had recently filled my tank with super unleaded gas. Also, I consulted two others mechanics who suggested that I have the engine light reset and see if it would come on again. They assured me if it did and the code read the same, it is most likely a bad converter. After the light came back on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, I decided to go ahead and have the converter replaced since I am about to embark on a number of camping trips. So, many thanks for Paul's patience especially after I had urged him to order the expensive part, which they did not have in stock due to the age of my vehicle. More

We've been coming to Southtowne for 15 years and continue to come back because of the people who work there. Michelle again as always took great care of us. Its like coming to visit family not going to a car dealership! More
