Jennifer - As I mentioned about being pleased by a few individuals, I also am a bit disappointed with the overall final deal on my new Acadia. I love the new vehicle and it is beautiful despite GM's ignorance by removing some features found in older models and the lack of some standard items I always received when purchasing a new or certified pre-owned vehicle from the former dealership. As I investigate these items and see the new prices, I am really upset and now have a bit of buyer's remorse. I was told that these items I wanted can be purchased through the service dept (parts) and I can use the points I have accrued. My points would only cover a small portion of the total bill. Again, it was something that the former dealer would "throw in" as a courtesy since I was a good long time customer. Normally I add many accessories later as I become accustomed to the new vehicle. But now it seems I am expected to do that for these common add-ons I used to get for free as part of the deal. What I used to get with each new vehicle from you (Rick Mathews GMC) were: Vent Shades (front and back) Hood bug deflector Front License Plate Mount Pin Stripes on both sides including a few other little minor items What I must now purchase (and pay to have installed) would be Cross Bars (rails) for the useless luggage rack rails installed on this vehicle. They are pricey and I expect to take the hit on them. I could not use the former ones from my trade in (2022 Acadia) as the new ones are wider and take a new version. I have always enjoyed the fine service I get from your service dept and shall most likely continue to bring my other vehicle in as I have for the past several years. My thoughts now are looking for maybe another dealership if and when I decide to trade-in or purchase another vehicle. My disappointment has been a factor and I appreciate you reaching out to me.
