I did a lot of research for a car. The website for Sarasota Subaru indicated there was good inventory of the two types of cars I was interested in. We we arrived at the dealership, The website for Sarasota Subaru indicated there was good inventory of the two types of cars I was interested in. We we arrived at the dealership, found out there was very little inventory, plus one vehicle in particular was "not available". This is a clear case of "bait and switch". We did find a vehicle that met our requirements, In fairness the sales rep Mark was excellent and the purchase of our car with Rick Smith was seamless. Lastly the cost of the DMV was almost $1K! I asked why it was so expensive and they say that is what it cost! What I discovered later is S.S has a contract with outside vendor to get plates same day. It would been better to offer me the option of dealer plates, and let me go to DMV. That would been a significant savings for me. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone More

The transaction was conducted on a Sunday and the salesman Mark Jones was willing to spend the entire afternoon to help me find the ideal car for my daughter. Very good customer service. Everything was explained as we went thru the process. Ended up with a great affordable used car.
