I purchased a used Honda Odyssey from Toyota West Mobile on April 11, 2026, and within weeks began experiencing serious transmission issues that should never happen with a vehicle sold by a dealership that on April 11, 2026, and within weeks began experiencing serious transmission issues that should never happen with a vehicle sold by a dealership that claims to perform a thorough 125-point inspection before selling its vehicles. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership on April 24, 2026, explained the issues in detail, and was essentially sent away without the problem being resolved. I was even told they could not properly diagnose the vehicle because they did not have Honda diagnostic equipment available. Selling a Honda on your lot but not having the ability to properly diagnose it is unacceptable. Since then, the vehicle’s condition has become significantly worse and is now unsafe and unreliable to drive, especially with children in the vehicle. I purchased this vehicle expecting safety and reliability, not a major transmission problem almost immediately after purchase. As of May 4, 2026, I have been forced to pay $75 per day for a rental vehicle while still making payments on a vehicle I cannot safely drive. This entire experience has caused unnecessary stress, financial burden, and safety concerns for my family. I am extremely disappointed in how this situation has been handled so far and hope Toyota West Mobile and corporate leadership step in immediately to make this right before more customers experience similar issues. More
