We don’t usually respond this directly, but your review leaves out too many facts to go unaddressed. Our General Manager provided immediate, detailed, and accurate guidance based solely on what you initially told us: towing needs, vehicle expectations, and daily usage. Your initial request was for a used Toyota capable of hauling 5,000 pounds for $15,000. A great amount of time was spent sending you over the specifications for each Toyota truck or SUV that could accommodate your needs. During this process, you also asked about a non-Toyota vehicle listed on our website for $6,000 more than your requested budget. That vehicle had just sold. A simple response letting you know it was no longer available somehow prompted rapid-fire emails to our store owner and this Google review claiming the GM was “lazy” and “lackluster.” For reference, here is a portion of the GM’s very detailed email guidance: I would recommend a 4Runner if the plan is to haul around 5,000 pounds regularly. The Sequoia is much larger and definitely capable, just not sure if you are needing that much vehicle. The Highlander offers a standard towing capacity of 3,500 however, a few models offer a 5,000 towing capacity. I don’t recommend towing that much regularly with the Highlander as it will not handle as well as a truck or Rear Wheel Drive SUV. The Toyota Tacoma will certainly accommodate regular towing between 4-6k pounds but does not offer a tremendous amount of rear passenger space if you plan to carry adults in the back seat. The Tundra will tow just about whatever you care to haul up to 12,000 pounds, extremely spacious interior just comes with a bit bigger price range. We also provided a link to our website to help continue your vehicle search when your criteria shifted outside your original guidelines. After your initial request, you completely changed direction, asking for any brand plus a ‘quick and sharp looking’ white sedan, all while staying at your original $15,000 all-in budget. We stand behind our team. They remained professional, responsive, and patient even as your requirements moved in multiple directions. Leaving out these critical details to paint our staff as passive or unmotivated is misleading, and it’s not something we’re going to allow to define the work they put in. We are always willing to discuss an experience respectfully. But we will also be clear when a review misrepresents what actually took place — and this one does.
