If we recall just a few weeks earlier, the Tiguan was in for some routine maintenance, flush, rotation, inspections, checks, touches, feels, analysis. Upon a full going over, front to rear and side to side, under for some routine maintenance, flush, rotation, inspections, checks, touches, feels, analysis. Upon a full going over, front to rear and side to side, underneath, on top, along the edge discovered age is taking it's toll (and it doesn't use EZ Pass) the lower control arm bushings are worn, torn, ripped, depleted, used up, beyond it's useful life, where ordered to be replaced, this time. This time is now, along with tire replacement due to age again, time takes it's toll. Hairline cracks in the tires, due to age even though there is still some usable tread left, 8 year old tires, xxxx time flies, as do birds, and other winged animals. Actually become a safety issue, possibly, so off they come, new ones installed balanced complete alignment. Aligned to keep it going straight, no rainbow flags on the Tiguan, yet. On this visit though Uncle Todd was staying home, he seems to have developed a real attraction to those new Solingen nail clippers,I think this might be a problem in the making. To be enthralled by the movement of the nail clipper, he stares at them, entranced by their delicate, smooth motion....he will certainly be watched for further action, and or hospitalization. Either at the nail clinic, or mental facility... The work was completed in super fast time, lots of work, done, finished, perfecta as usual. New tires, new suspension parts, aligned and good for another year,of fine service. And in closing I want to wish Ginny a fine farewell, good luck, as she is retiring next month after years and years, and years, and years of great service and extremely friendly and excellent help on our many vehicles serviced and maintained by Hamilton VW. Will miss ya Ginny...regards Uncle Todd, me, and cousin Normon. Oh, I forgot to tell you about Normon....... More

Well after the Tigjuan was tickled and massaged and maintained just recently, the Golf R got jealous. It too needed it's bolts and nuts tickled and twisted....and a good flush of the brake lines....aa maintained just recently, the Golf R got jealous. It too needed it's bolts and nuts tickled and twisted....and a good flush of the brake lines....aaaahhh. Always makes it better. Funny how the TigJuan, is automatic, and the rrrrr is a Manual.....probably related through factory genetics. Tire rotation, makes for a difference, tires wear, different front and back....even when the back tires rotate forward, when the backs are put on the front, now they are fronts rotating forward, and what was the fronts, now on the rear (ooogggaaahh) rotating forward and fronts are put on the back you can feel it in the steering, it's better. Similar to how when ya' get new nail clippers....replacing old, dull ones with brand new super sharp edge. It just cuts better. Have you thought about YOUR nail clippers today? I realize how important sharp, knife edge clippers work so much better. When I have to do Uncle Todd's gross nail forest, because his Alien nurses won't go near them, even pros, who have seen everything, can't deal with the vile nails attached to Uncle Todd. So I got the new ones, went in, goggles, gas mask, and wow. The new super sharp clippers had me out of the war zone in a few minutes, rather than having to clip, clip, clip multiple times. Bought a generic cheaper set, and a super duper Solingen German clippers at literally 10X the price, let's see how they compare over time. So far the German ones seem to work best with my right arm extended just a bit. German blades for the win. Hamilton VW for the win...why go anywhere else? Why? really Why, answer me.. More

A few Flushes and rotations to keep Tigjuan going great for another year...basic maintenance matters. The still free oil change for it has saved hundred$, and more now that everything is priced up up up. for another year...basic maintenance matters. The still free oil change for it has saved hundred$, and more now that everything is priced up up up. The rear end gets a tickle and flush,so it keeps on spinning, properly and without binding, or jamming, sticking, or complaining, you know those days, when the rear end is just not correct. Proper flushing always matters for rear end functions. Looks like the front end got a tickle, when it's lower control arm bushings are showing their age, to be replaced in another visit, unlike Uncle Todd who keep trying to hide his declining, physical and mental state. He sits out in the yard, and complains about the Aliens landing near him, when I have to keep telling him, Uncle, that's your NURSES, wake up, they are the only reason you are still breathing, and mumbling to yourself. They do work beyond the call of "duty", when his rear needs flushing, it's not a pretty sight. I'd much rather be a car technician, mechanic than a old people nurse....It's always a much better experience visiting Hamilton VW, than it is Uncle Todd's senior++++++ living facility. Ball joints and broken nuts, have an entirely different meaning. Again Hamilton VW always does it right, first time, all the time, every time, on time. It's the people that make the people's car dealer work so well... More
