Extremely slow. Made an appointment at 7 am and got there at 6:45. Only needed an oil change and didn’t get my car until 9:30-9:40 am. Asked the manager at 8;30 why my car wasn’t touched till 8:30 and he tried to say there was 3/4/cars ahead yet my appointment at 7. At 9:20 I went to Service advisor and he acted confused in why I was still there and went to check for me. He came back saying they were just finishing and topping off the oil. That’s a lie it doesn’t take over an hour to do an oil change. He then tried to say I was the first car they worked on, another lie because how was my car the first one worked on if my appointment was at 7 and it was now 9:30 am? Then he tried to say he’ll ask again but my cars should be done. He never asked again. Then that service advisor, Brett. Gave me a form for a survey I should be receiving saying what I should put for a free oil change. It basically said to put yess or good job for eeverything. That’s a slap in the face. Especially since I sat there for xxxx near 3 hours for an oil change and wasn’t offered a shuttle service and that was one of the questions on the form he gave me. More

Some time ago, I noticed a failure in the vehicle’s transmission, especially when shifting from first gear. I took the car to my trusted mechanic, who suspected a transmission issue but couldn't confirm it definitively since the vehicle was still moving, though with difficulty. I then consulted two other mechanics, who gave me similar feedback. In search of a more technical opinion, I brought the vehicle to a competing dealership for a diagnostic. They reported a failure in three sensors and quoted a repair cost of around $5,000—without guaranteeing that the issue would be resolved. Considering the high cost and the uncertainty, I returned to my mechanics, who informed me that their diagnostic tools showed no fault with the sensors. With my car sitting idle for over four months, unable to work and support my family, I went back to the Kia dealership to request a transmission replacement. However, I was advised by the service supervisors that replacing the transmission would not solve the problem and that the real issue was with the sensors. Trusting Kia’s diagnosis, I purchased the sensors directly from the dealership and had my mechanic install them. Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue. It is now clear that the problem is indeed with the transmission, just as initially suspected. This situation has placed me in a very difficult financial position: I spent a significant amount on sensors based on an incorrect diagnosis and now do not have the means to afford the necessary transmission replacement. Given this, I kindly ask the dealership to review my case and consider offering support—whether through a discount on the transmission replacement, a flexible payment plan, or a more thorough technical analysis that could lead to a definitive solution. I am open to dialogue and truly hope we can find a fair and reasonable resolution. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response.
