Stopped in last week after consulting with several other Mazda dealers across IL online hoping to test drive a few vehicles in order to make a final decision - with zero plans to purchase from Castle Mazda. Well, here we are less than a week later and I have a new Mazda in the garage courtesy of Castle after I returned the following day. If you’re thinking about purchasing a new Mazda, I highly suggest heading over and asking for Nolan. He’s not your typical car salesman (or he’s just a really good actor) and I felt zero pressure whatsoever. He started by comparing the two vehicles I was interested in - listing the major differences and possible annoyances and answering any obscure question I had. The process was easy and though it was the end of the month with Mazda possibly changing their incentives within two days (they did), this was never mentioned/used as a pressure technique. The finance folks at Castle are your typical car dealer finance folks, friendly but doing their job to get you to buy the extended warranty. Still 5 stars though, as Rich was efficient in removing the prepaid maintenance plan when I called the following day to remove it and made all the paperwork signing as efficient as he could. Manager gave a fair deal on my trade in as well and beat more than 5 other dealers on the OTD price on a vehicle with not a lot of mark ups - cough Toyota cough. Many thanks to the folks at Castle Mazda. Will update this review to reflect their service dept. after visiting for my first of 2 complimentary oil changes and tire rotation. More
