I came in to Rt. 4 Hyundai on Thursday April 25th with what I THOUGHT would be the best car for me in mind, and walked out on Tuesday April 30th a VERY SATISFIED customer. I made sure to point out the tim what I THOUGHT would be the best car for me in mind, and walked out on Tuesday April 30th a VERY SATISFIED customer. I made sure to point out the time span for several reasons...... First off, I came into the dealership looking to replace a car that was wrecked in an accident a few days before. The significance in that information? I needed to replace my car, and I was in a hurry to do so! When I walked into the dealership on Thursday 'KNOWING' what car I wanted to look at (considering the price advertised being the best for me and all that....so I thought). In my mind I wasn't willing to 'talk' about or even 'just look' at another car. (Bad experience with previous dealerships hustling me into getting a car I wouldn't have chose for myself. Even AFTER stating that I wasn't interested into buying that day). I 'KNEW' what I wanted and that was that.......... And then came Arthur. Very nice from the jump "Hi, are you guys being helped?.......Oh ok, I'm able to help you, my name is Arthur David..."*extends hand for hand shake*. THIS was a big deal for me because at my previous dealership, I had to stand around and wait for a few minutes (about 15-20) before seeing someone....... And that was WITH an appointment. Now back to Arthur, he took basic information about the kind of car I had before, LISTENED to what brought me into the dealership and LISTENED when I said I was just looking. Though making a deal is very important in the car sales world, I felt my needs were going to be considered first here. And I give Mr. David a TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF RESPECT for what he was about to get himself into. After finding a car that was best for ME, we got down to business. Talking numbers and percentages and all that other stuff that would make a girl like myself head spin, even after staying longer than he was supposed to trying to get the numbers right, he didn't push too hard and pressure me (and my guest) as others would. We exchanged info, and he allowed me to think on it. He followed up with me to see how things were going, and lent helpful advise, but didn't harass me.... Finally, I came to a decision at the end of my shopping around and researching, Hyundai was the way to go! I had just fallen in LOVE with the car, and remembered the customer service. (Things like that REALLY DOES matter!) Walked in on Tuesday evening excited, walked out Tuesday night ECSTATIC!!!! I knew the car we were talking on, I knew the numbers we were looking at, but actually finalizing it all with these guys was kind of surreal to me. I got a car that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED, at a price (which I must say was better than the car I originally walked in eyeing) that was affordable, and had some of THEEEEE BEST customer service all at once. I was a winner! NOT A DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! Even the guys who weren't your actually sales men were nice and sociable with you. I haven't seen that elsewhere. I've recommended, and will continue to recommend Rt. 4 in Paramus Hyundai to my friends, family, co-workers, everyone. Thanks again guys, it truly was an experience. More

I would recommend this dealership for their professionalism. There was absolutely no presure. We weren't sure what we wanted, they let us test drive a few cars, and we still weren't sure. The trunk seemed a little small so they invited us to, at anytime, bring our golf clubs and see if they would fit. They never said you must buy now. We went back 3 times and finally leased a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Love the car. I would recommend the dealership and the car. More

They tell you to sign the paper and say this is just to go to the next step. And they make you put a $1000 deposit. They also say this is just a step for me to go speak with financial dept. If you ask if the deposit is 100% refundable, they will say "ABSOLUTELY, YES." Even if you ask them several times, they will keep saying "YES, OF COURSE 100% REFUND". That's how they trick you. If you read the paper, it will say the deposit is non-refundable. But, they will still say the deposit is 100% refundable. And guess what happens when you tell them the interest rate is too high that you need to cancel this transaction and tell them to give you a deposit back. THEY DON'T GIVE YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. They will say to you "Do you have any proof of us saying we will give you a refund? Who did you ask? Paul? Paul is just a salesman. You should have come to me (manger, Eric Bennett) for this question. He has no power! I got the power! We can't give you a refund since you already signed the paper. If you want to bring this to the court, bring this to the court. It will be just bit complicated and hard times for you. But please go ahead, if you want to. Eventually, we'll win. :)" Even if you say you will post a review and write what they have done to me or report this to a newspaper, they will say, "Go ahead! We don't mind. Please do." Yes, they are very sneaky and deceiver. Not only Paul Paik or Eric Bennet, everyone at this dealership is exactly the same. They will rip off your money any time. And they add unnecessary options on your document, which other dealers don't add. So BE AWARE!!! I don't understand how they are still operating. And it is very interesting how this website has 4.3 rating, when other website has 1 star rating for this dealership. Let's be honest. A lot of people have been tricked by them. One other tip to give you, all of the above things that they have done is illegal. I reported this to Hyundai consumer affair and they told me everything they have done and said to me is illegal. They apologized to me and said Paramus Hyundai is not one of them. I told them Paramus Hyundai gave the most horrible and disgusting impression to Hyundai. And they denied Paramus Hyundai is one of Hyundai Corp. They said this dealership is just like a franchise supermarket. As you can see, Hyundai consumer affair is even very shameful about Paramus Hyundai. You guys should better be fixing your fraud habit. I feel bad to watch you guys earning money by ripping off people's money with all those lies. More
