Dear Mr John, Sorry I have not responded to message before now. I have Parkinson's Disease and it has gotten worse plus I have a very bad heart and right now I'm going back in for another heart Cath. As far as the down payment that can be verified by Robert Majors the salesman. By the way has worked tirelessly through the whole ordeal. He is fantastic. Now the repairs, I feel you should be able to charge a fee to diagnose a car problem. However 165 dollars is ridiculous for 5 minutes to tell I have an exhaust leak and would cost over one thousand dollars. We received no written est. Adviced him we didn't have that kind of money especially since we had to come up with an additional 700 dollars for the down payment. They could replace the broken bolt for 366 dollars That included parts and labor for 2 hours. Told him to proceed with said repairs. 40 minutes later he told the car was complete. Really, 2 hrs for 40 minutes work. I checked my watch so I'd know when to return but decided to stay. You want to make we happy Reimburse me 165 dollar diagnostic fee I wasn't told about when we went pay the bill. We were expecting 366 and was now 443.17. I objected, was given a military discount of 44.99. And when I asked the service advisor about the diagnostic charge and shop supplies he said that's just how we do it here. At that point I had had enough and walked out. Sincerely Johnny Walker
