Compared to other Honda dealers in northern California, Auburn Honda provides a much better customer experience. During my last service visit, they worked with me in addressing the specific issue and did Auburn Honda provides a much better customer experience. During my last service visit, they worked with me in addressing the specific issue and did not try to upsell high margin non-essential services. Unlike other Honda dealers, Auburn Honda respected my time and started my service promptly at my scheduled time of arrival. The service adviser was respectful and knowledgeable. However, the unfortunate reality of working with any Honda dealership will be the high cost of repairs compared to a competent Honda specialty shop, if you can find one. More

During my visit, I was disappointed by the lack of privacy when discussing my personal financial information. Sensitive details regarding my credit score and banking history were spoken about openly i privacy when discussing my personal financial information. Sensitive details regarding my credit score and banking history were spoken about openly in a public area, within earshot of other customers. This was not only uncomfortable but also felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Additionally, there was an apparent breakdown in communication throughout the buying process. I was told that specific issues with the vehicle had been addressed, but unfortunately, those problems persist. I was also informed that both the vehicle and paperwork would be ready by the afternoon, yet upon arrival, neither was prepared. This resulted in two visits to the dealership, each lasting over three hours—an inconvenience that could have been avoided with better coordination and planning. While I understand that I purchased a used vehicle, I believe every customer deserves the same level of respect and attention, regardless of the price point. The vehicle’s features were not explained to me, and I left feeling rushed and unsupported during what was a very important and stressful decision. As a single mother supporting two households on a limited income, having a reliable vehicle is essential to my ability to work and care for my family. If I had the time, financial flexibility, and fewer responsibilities, I would have continued my search elsewhere. Unfortunately, my circumstances left me with limited options. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects a real opportunity for improvement, particularly in the areas of customer communication, privacy, and empathy.
