Everything has been very good and also very smooth. Things were done for me that I didn’t expect to be done. Very happy and would suggest them to everyone. Things were done for me that I didn’t expect to be done. Very happy and would suggest them to everyone. More

I had an issue with my radiator, namely the water pump had a metal tube that had a hole in it. This was seen by me and diagnosed by a radiator shop in PA where I live. The problem was that I work in Ohio had a metal tube that had a hole in it. This was seen by me and diagnosed by a radiator shop in PA where I live. The problem was that I work in Ohio and needed a local dealership to do the repair. I called into Parkway and the lovely person taking appts. set me up for a diagnosis. I gave her all of the infor she needed, but most of that was not relayed to the service dept. I was told this would take an hour, maybe 2 to get this diagnosis complete and call the warranty company to get approval for the repair. Then when I came in, I showed the guy at the desk the issue and explained it. Of course that was not explained correctly to the tech. This should have been a 1/2 hr. diagnosis. Instead, it took over 6 1/2 hours for the tech to run a full diagnostic and inspection. Mind you the vehicle was inspected in December. So after 6 1/2 hours the tech came back with a laundry list of things that I was not there to discuss, nor were they going to be covered by my warranty. Mostly, 2 filters ($150) and 2 burnt out lights ($1800 bc instead of replacing the bulb in the mirror they were going to replace the entire mirror (WTH). Then he wanted to change all of the hoses on the radiator and the thermostat bc the fluid in the radiator was cruddy. That is nice, but not covered and would have cost me over a grand out of pocket. So by the time I left they had not contacted the warranty company and gave me an estimated a bit of over 3 grand. Plus, I lost an entire day of work bc this is my only vehicle in Ohio. Then, once they figured out what was and was not covered they got back to me. Remember, I only went in for the radiator. They are great at trying to upsell you stuff that is not necessary to pass inspection and not what you came in for. I missed my appt on Tuesday and set an appt for thursday at 8:30. I was told it should take 4 hours. At 2:27 I got a text that the tech just now got to my vehicle but it would be ready at the end of the day between 5-6, so another whole day with out my truck. I could not get there and told them I would get it first thing in the morning. Got there at 8:45 and my vehicle was not ready for pick up, so again had to wait. Luckily only a half hour, bc the tech had not tested it out so it needed a road test. The issue was a radiator water pump. They can test them with a pressure pump to make sure no leaks, and if they needed to see if the thermostat was working it just needed to run til it was hot enough to engage the thermostat. If I ever have issues again, I guess I will have to drive out to Canton. If I had to buy another vehicle, it would not be here. If the service department can't give you good to excellent service, you can't expect the vehicle to be all that great. More

I took the car to have the battery checked for whether it was dead or not, since the service visit previous, to have the oil changed, said the battery was dying. During the previous service visit, I was tol was dead or not, since the service visit previous, to have the oil changed, said the battery was dying. During the previous service visit, I was told the battery could not be replaced under the warrantee unless it was dead. Therefore, I had to come in for this service visit to have the battery put on the tester. The tester showed the battery was dying but as still slightly above the minimum value to call it dead. For this reason, Parkway would not give me a replacement battery under the warrantee. Instead, I was told when the battery failed, Parkway would tow me in and replace the battery under the warrantee. Since I did not want to drive around with the vehicle knowing it was going to leave me stranded, I purchased a Die hard Platinum Battery and had it replaced last Sunday. I believe we all knew the battery was going to fail me but was disappointed that your service manager wanted me to get stranded before anything was done, Therefore, I replaced the battery at my cost to eliminate the threat of be stranded. In my eyes, this is poor customer service.. More

Car was brought in for warranty recalls (door latch recall was one of them). Door latch connector was broken during repair and not fixed or replaced and I never received a phone call asking if I would recall was one of them). Door latch connector was broken during repair and not fixed or replaced and I never received a phone call asking if I would like to have it fixed. The service report said the connector was broken already but the car never said the door was open prior to this "repair". When I picked the car up (afterhours on a Saturday) the car thought the door was open and would not turn off the dome light. This was draining the battery!!!! I had to remove the door panel and fix the issue the best way I could since the car was needed by my son who is in college. I have had decent experiences with Parkway up until this one and I was warned that things were going from good to bad at this dealership....now I know the facts. More
