I will never do business with this dealer again. If you value your hard earned dollars you won’t give them your business. I purchased a 2016 4Runner As-Is from this dealership in November 2024 If you value your hard earned dollars you won’t give them your business. I purchased a 2016 4Runner As-Is from this dealership in November 2024. Since the truck was As-Is I had a REASONABLE expectation that it would need some work. While I was looking the truck over, the salesman made a point to show me on the liftgate where they had repaired some rust. When someone tells me they’ve fixed something I expect that they’ve fixed it. Two weeks after purchase I made an appt to have the truck serviced because it was leaking power steering fluid and the rear windshield had fallen and wouldn’t go back up. When I dropped the truck off I explained to the service guy that I thought the rear windshield probably wasn’t put back together correctly when they fixed the rust. This was by far one of the WORST service experiences of my life. They had my truck for xxxx near two weeks just to fix the power steering issue. I was supposed to get my truck back before Christmas I did not. The only reason they provided me with a rental on 12/23 is because I flipped out on them. They do not communicate whatsoever. They did not provide updates on the progress of my repair unless I badgered them for it. That alone is enough for me not to go back there. Ultimately, they did fix the power steering. Now let me tell you about the liftgate. As I stated, the salesman told me they repaired the rust on the liftgate. Imagine my surprise when they told me the liftgate could not be fixed because the inside of it was so incredibly rusted out. According to them the only solution was to replace the entire liftgate and all the hardware for the window controls. I about lost my mind. How are you going to tell me this sucker is rusted beyond repair when you told me you fixed it? Oh I know! It’s because you’re dishonest, a liar, a cheat, etc. But I digress. World Kia’s response was you bought it As-Is there’s nothing we are going to do. Which is WILD because every member of the team who was involved in this situation agreed that there was no way I could have known how wrecked the liftgate was unless I pulled off the interior panel. It is now August 2025 and I just finished installing the new liftgate, window regulator, and motor. However, I’m missing one piece of the puzzle because I haven’t been able to get the window working (there is power to the rear lights and back up camera). I took the truck to the dealership to ask them to do me a solid since they lied about their work and it cost me an additional $2700 to repair. I was polite. The first guy I spoke to was a total xxxxxxx. Before I even said anything to him he said “that truck was sold 7mo ago.” I said “yeah that was me!” I explained the situation and with all the condescension he could muster he said “I work for Kia. I get paid by the hour…” I remained calm and said cool I’m going to go talk to them now. I went to the main dealership and talked to the kid in service. I again explained the situation this time stressing that I was giving them the opportunity to make this right and that I hadn’t gone scorched earth over this yet. Kid tells me they have to charge me to diagnose it to which I said absolutely not. I asked for the service manager who was conveniently in a meeting. I said that’s fine here’s my number have him call me. Naturally he never called. It’s been two weeks since I spoke to them without any response. And to top this all off, there’s no AC. Like it needs to be charged and it’s clearly pointless to go back to the dealership. So I figured it’s time to warn as many people as possible away from purchasing from them. Not only are they deceitful, their customer service is trash. Do yourself a favor and take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. More

Im an out of town buyer in Ohio and I had the WORST EXPERIENCE with this dealer! Was supposed to work with a salesman named Soto, who has no business professionalism at all! My 2020 Kia Soul is currently at the Joliet World Kia service department due to a breakdown on the expressway last Saturday, March 9th. Despite being under warranty, I received no updates by the followin service department due to a breakdown on the expressway last Saturday, March 9th. Despite being under warranty, I received no updates by the following Monday. Concerned, I called on Tuesday, March 12th, only to discover that my car's transmission had failed and requires replacement. However, I was denied a rental as another department needed to confirm the warranty coverage. Since then, despite multiple calls, I've received no further updates. Each time I call, I'm given the same information about the transmission needing replacement and the rental pending confirmation. On Thursday, March 14th, frustrated by the lack of progress, I requested to speak directly with the service department. Unfortunately, the person who answered seemed distracted and disinterested, even laughing when I inquired about my options. This treatment is completely unacceptable given the seriousness of my situation. My car broke down on a busy expressway, leaving me unable to work for a week. As of March 15th, I still haven't received any new updates or been provided with a rental, despite the clear terms of my warranty. This situation is deeply frustrating and I expect prompt resolution from World Kia of Joliet. More

I use to be a faithful customer to world kia to service my kia, one day they told me you need a new Engine, they kept the car for more than two months, after I took the car it wasn't running as it should, I completed and took it to service department again and each time they tells me something new, and still not running as it should be, I took it to get a second opinion and I'm told it was a rebuilt Engine even though my car is still under warranty, I got thrre to complaint but on the way I thought of something else is to trade it to a new car , I did but they pressure me to buy a mechanic warranty, the next day I filled a form for the cancellations, I emailed it 5 times with no response I called them and they said it went automatically to kia finance and it take time to be canceled, now 5 weeks later I called kia Finance in California headquarters of Kia manufacturer and finance, I'm told they have nothing to do with it, it's between you and world kia, Today I called kia management and I explained what kia finance told me , she said you have to read the contract and the cancellations form and it will take them 12 to 16 weeks to get a reply. I'll wait and if none happened I will take it to the next step which take them to court. This Dealer it's something else, please go all over the dealerships before you come to world kia. Don't buy or take you car to service there. Good luck More

They must pay for good reviews because this dealership is like a zoo. That’s because they’re all snakes. Hatim acts nice, but plays dumb. I gave him a $1,500 deposit on a 2021 Nissan Rogue. Go to get the car. Tells me he will be two minutes. Forty-five minutes later. Tells me the car isn’t there. Couldn’t offer up a decent explanation. The manager “Mo” was so rude about it. They sold the car despite my deposit holding it. They knew it was sold and didn’t care about my time or money. No quipped right away that he wants to show me a Jeep Cherokee. No wonder they didn’t tell me in advance the car was sold to another buyer. They still want my sale at all cost. I went to Thomas Nissan in Joliet and got a car in less than two hours. It was a Murano. Nicer than the Rogue I looked at with Hatim. AND, my monthly payment is $250 less than what World Kia quoted me. Mo and Hatim are the snakiest sales people EVER. More

My name is Sharon and I not please with my service at all. I went to this dealership for the 1st and received scratches on my van while being serviced and requested the camera be check over 4 times. I never received any information or a response to my request. I believe I must contact the insurance company to get a result. I also paid for a review on a leak that I was experiencing last week, I was overcharged requested the adjustment immediately and now everything that I paid for which is over $800.00 I still have the leak in the same area. I am trusting nothing right now. I have to take my vehicle back Friday morning 12/15/23. I should not be charged for anything. I paid for all of this and some. My driveway continues to be damaged, I have to take time to drive back to the dealership and adjust my life to have these corrections made because my grandkids and I are not safe right now. I am truly upset. More

He listened to my concerns, gave me timely updates and arranged a rental for me paid by KIA while my car is being fixed. Great teamwork and very friendly and professional! The parts department will. Or call you if you prepay and order parts when they come in, the service department will run you through the ringer on any customer pay service that you may or may not need, and if you need a warranty issue taken care of, they probably won’t do it unless you wait 3-4 months to get into the service department with an appointment. You need a loaner vehicle?, to bad, they won’t give you one. You want good customer service?, to bad they don’t offer it. Their whole dealership is based off of the “wow” (women of world)Kia experience. That too is nothing but a joke as it’s merely a bunch of Middle Aged women on power trips that have spent way too much time in the tanning bed and drinking pumpkin spice lattes. Am I bitter?, yea a little bit, but this is just my own opinion. Go form your own here at this disposable dealership. More
