What Others Say

Alban Ibrahimi went above and beyond to get my new Ridgeline to me. And my follow up questions were answered promptly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Alban and Balise Honda of West Springfield Kris F

Our second lease with Derek Williamson. A pleasure to work with. Very Helpful. Thanks, Derek.

We worked with Derek Williamson to purchase a new vehicle. He was lovely to work with - calm, no pressure and communicative through the process. I highly recommend working with him.

Balise’s strategy is simple and familiar: deny the problem, delay action, and defend themselves instead of their customers. They do not stand behind their cars and will do everything possible to avoid accountability. I purchased a 2019 vehicle with 77,000 miles, only to discover it burned oil at 2.5 times the acceptable rate, ultimately requiring a full engine replacement. Before selling it, Balise replaced engine components and the catalytic converter. Oil coated the tailpipe and seeped into the engine components—something they couldn’t have overlooked, yet independent mechanics spotted it immediately. While still under warranty, I reported classic engine performance issues—bogging on acceleration, sluggish performance. Balise performed minimal testing, skipped fluid checks, and brushed it off as a “wheel-locking safety feature.” Never having owned an SUV or newer vehicle, I took their word for it—though with suspicion. Once the 3,000-mile warranty expired, they refused to help, wouldn’t return a single call, and ignored my repeated attempts to get the issue diagnosed earlier. After persistent efforts, I finally reached someone in service who convinced the manager to approve diagnostics. Balise kept my car for four days with zero updates. When I showed up in person, they claimed they were “running tests,” but when I picked it up, all they had done was scan the same cam sensor codes I had already reported—without actually diagnosing the problem. They told me to return in 1,000 miles for an oil check yet admitted they never even measured the oil while they had the car. When I checked immediately after leaving, the oil level was already too low to drive. Balise ignored my calls for a year and only responded minutes after I faxed a legal demand (if you’re in the same situation, I highly recommend doing the same). They kept my car for a month for an engine swap, then returned it with poor acceleration and a shifting vibration—issues that were immediately obvious and should never have passed inspection. Up to that point, the transmission had been fine—I even had a fluid change and checkup six months prior with a clean bill of health. At this point, nothing Balise does can compensate for the financial and emotional hardship I’ve dealt with over the past year. But I do take solace in one thing: while half my department is shopping for cars in the coming months, none of my coworkers, customers, friends, or family will be buying from Balise. Neither will their friends, their families, or anyone else I can warn. And believe me, I will. Should’ve just bought back your garbage vehicle and sent it to auction—or salvage, where it belongs.

Horrible customer service waited 3 1/2 hour for an appointment that was supposed to take 1 1/2 hours.. Second service appointment quoted wait time was 1 1/2 hours, waited almost 3.. Will not be patronizing this dealership again!

If you are shopping for a deal, this dealership, no matter what the Flagship is, might be the right fit. If you're shopping for service, look elsewhere. We purchased three vehicles last year from 3 Balise dealerships, and 2 out of the three were absolutely horrible. The 3rd was still under the old dealership and was switching over to a Balise dealership.
