What Others Say

We knew a used car would be a risk, and figured (assumed) we would put $1000 into it to make it all good (at most).... based on when the salesman Micheal says "the mechanic says it is mechanically sound or else we wouldn't keep it on our lot", so a good person tends to take someone on his word at that point. One week later and only 97 miles after purchase, the check engine light came on and our mechanic says it needs $3500 worth of work and was 2 quarts low on oil. My husband called to see if the dealer would make it right, and their salesman manager says, "Warranty is as is- sorry. you signed paperwork when you bought it." I don;t know why the saleman said that too you. Our mechanic has worked here on and off for 12 years...blah blah blah..." Point is there was no effort on this dealership to even help us. they recognized that the car had been traded in and had not been looked over well by their mechanic..... but at the end of the transaction, they left us out to dry, on our own, and offered zero reconciliation.. Get your used car checked over by your own mechanic before buying from this dealer.... please. We were offered an oil change after the sale as they recognized they hadn't gotten to the care/maintenance they usually provide for their vehicles. We heard the sob story how this dealership is owned by an independent owner and not a conglomerate, but it operates the same way. Don't be fooled. If you buy a car, make sure to get a second opinion, because the arbitrator option is a pain in the xxx! Do not trust these people at face value!

I bought two suzuki's here and decided to trade one in on a truck. When I cancelled my warranty within the contractual period, these guys refused to give me my money back. Now we will end up in court. It turns out that the warranty was bogus anyway. The warranty company only performs the administration and the dealer carries the remainder of the 1700.00 warranty. The owner is a Jerk now we will be going to court. Buyer beware and under no circumstance should you buy their bogus warranty or any cars from this dealership. Steer clear of this dealership they have absolutely no ethics.

My son found a car listed for $10,999 at Denver Suzuki and was talking to the salesman. I asked if I could talk to him and ask some questions. The salesman's name was John Newman. After some back and fourth discussion I asked what would be the best take price he would give me. He said he would need to call back with the price. He called back in about a minute and made an offer of $9999+taxes of about $750+dealer handling of $450, so the price would be about $12,000. I said the numbers add up to about $11,200. He said that was right and the deal is only for tonight because of it being a snow storm it was very slow. I agreed to the deal. It was 4:30 pm and I told him it would take me 30 to 45 mins to get there because of the weather. A 25 mile drive. John said he would wait and get the paperwork started. I got there in 30 mins and was met at the door by Bernard. With my son we test drove the car and during the test drive I asked Bernard why John was not with us? Oh, John went home because he came in at 9 am and he had a long day. So it starts.... Back at the Denver Suzuki dealership we sit down with Bernard and he starts with the usual questions like name, address, county, etc. While in conversation with Bernard he mentions something about the negotiation process. I say the deal was made and give him the figures John and I agreed to on the phone at 4:30. He writes them down and then asks for my credit card to show good faith and that I am a serious buyer and leaves for a few minutes. He comes back and again asked what John had told me. So I again tell him the $9999+taxes+D&H. He says he needs to call John and dials, then mumbles something to the phone, hangs up and said John never agreed to that deal and the price of the vehicle was already on sale at the $10,999 price. I took my credit card and got up telling him this place was a joke and started to walk out. He asked "What did I say?" and in a louder voice so as to make sure he heard me I again said this place is a joke. He said the person I need to deal with is John (Oh but he went home because he had such a long day) and I had better leave or he would call the cops. I said just tell them your the joke dealer on 104th and they will know where to go. I will never buy a car from these guys or any corporation who owns them. They are the classic bait and switch car dealer. I wouldn't recommend these guys to a snake unless of course the snake needed a job!

They are so friendly and helpful! Not pushy at all. I recommend Denver Suzuki to anyone buying a car, new or used! I couldn't be happier with my experience! Their customer service is phenomenal!!!

Very pushy and full of false promises. They will tell you the sky is pink if they think it will convince you to buy. I would not recommend you deal with these clowns.

Up until this past week my experiences with this dealership have been good, especially with the service manager Keith. I'm not so sure that the dealership is to blame, as much as the Suzuki corporation. I had a problem with a seatbelt in my Suzuki - it was ripped straight across and I was very honest about the fact that my dog had been in my car for short periods of time, but I didn't think he had done this, because it was a straight cut with no bite marks. I had purchased the extra warranty on that car with 100,000 mile/7 years bumper to bumper coverage. At first they were not going to cover it, because they felt that either the dog did it or someone cut the seatbelt, which was absurd since I hardly had anyone in my car. Then Suzuki decided to make a good faith effort and said they would replace the seat belt if I would pay for the installation. I felt that was fair enough. Before I got that done, I traded it in at a Nissan dealership and I was upfront with the dealer about the seat belt and that I would get it fixed. Suzuki, however, withdrew their good faith offer when they found out I traded the car in. Instead of paying $140 for the install, I was looking at a $400 repair. I think they had a duty to follow through with what they said they would do - instead they lost a good customer forever. Here is the kicker - Nissan had already finished the transaction with me and had a signed form that I would take care of the seat belt. They had nothing to gain from this, yet they offered to install it for free!
