Ames Ford Lincoln was spectacular for this deal. All of the information about the vehicle was available on the website. I was able to call and speak with the salesman about the Escape before I made a drive to the dealership. He even went out and took some specific photographs of various places I had questions about on the car and e-mailed them to me. We were able to negotiate a price satisfactory to dealership and myself quickly. All of the necessary purchase paperwork was ready for me when I got there. Since I had my own financing, they gave me all of the information I needed to get my papers arranged before making the trip to Ames. Once in Ames, the dealership was spotless and the staff was very friendly and cordial. I especially liked the table they sat me down at to sign papers. A plugin was available so I could plug in my laptop, connect to their wi-fi, and get my insurance set up before I left. They also filled the gas tank for me before we left the lot. I will definitely do business with Ames Ford Lincoln again in the future.

Started out great! Genevieve was great and made things seem wonderful. Got an approval and made things seem she would do what was needed to make me a customer. Got down to needing a letter from the bank saying they would send the title directly to Moffitt's (normal procedure when car traded in). Moffits called them with me and verified they would send the title. The letter was faxed to them 2 times. Moffits claimed they did not receive the letter, so I had the bank send to me since they would be closed today. I sent Moffits the letter and today received a call from who I assume is the owner. He was very rude and accused me of fraud. said I made those letters myself (even though they are notarized and have fax stamps from the bank). He talked over me and was very rude. When I tried to defend myself from the accusations, he hung up on me. Very-unprofessional!

One of many examples! Went for a test drive with service manager, he verified the complaint on the truck, scheduled follow-up appointment to get it fixed on Friday. Called Friday evening to check status on my truck sorry we never got to look at it the appointment was at 9:30 AM! Been dealing with this dealership for six months trying to get my truck fixed!
