On the advice of Rob, the service manager at Triple A, I took my F150 to Palmetto Ford where I met Allen Oltmann, the service advisor. I told him the story about my F 150, which only had 17,000 miles on it since 2020, and had an oil leak. I also told him that the AAA service manager advised me to take it to Ford as the power train was still under warrantee. That saved me $1,300.00 because Allen had Palmetto Ford honor the warrantee. When I got to Ford and asked Allen how long it would take, he said "one week." I had to figure out where to rent a vehicle. Later that same day, Allen called me and said that he had the technician, who would be working on my pickup, would have it finished in one day. And so, I had no out of pocket expense for the repair and lost no time by having Allen and the technician work on getting my pickup repaired in one day.
