We are proud to offer you this 1959 Cadillac Series 62 Collectors Grade with Factory A/C for sale! Few cars draw immediate attention like the 1959 Cadillac. Sporting high-flying tail fins flanked by twin bullet taillights, this striking coupe's iconic styling took the world by storm and accentuated the cars stunning overall length. This 1959 Series 62 has been mildly customized, but outwardly presents in fairly stock condition. From its Seminole Red paint finish to its chrome wire wheels wrapped in wide whitewall tires, every inch of the exterior was built to stand out. A red-on-red motif is carried through the interior the leather upholstery, carpeting, door panels and dashboard all feature a distinctive red hue that parallels the exterior. The factory instrument cluster was upgraded with Dakota Digital gauges, and a Custom Autosound stereo system with Bluetooth has been installed to provide a broader entertainment spectrum. Well-equipped from the factory, this Series 62 features power steering, power brakes, power windows, cruise control and factory air conditioning. A 390 CI V-8 engine and Hydra-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission motivates the big coupe. The 1959 model year would begin the sixth generation of the Series 62, and although Cadillac revised its name to Series 6200, enthusiasts usually continue referring to it as the 62. Interestingly, the sixth generation would span just two years before the seventh generation would be introduced for 1961. However, 1959 would also be the year that the DeVille and Eldorado models were moved into their own series, the 63 and 64, and the 6200 became its own line. This year would also bring about the new 390 CI V-8 engine, retiring the 365 CI V-8. An extremely well-appointed model, the Series 62 was always well regarded as an astonishing value. Some standard features included power brakes, power steering, an automatic transmission and two-speed windshield wipers, features that would likely have been extra-cost options, or not even available, on other vehicles.
