1960 Porsche 356B T5 Roadster ⢠VIN 87320 ⢠Engine No. 601363 - Matching ⢠Transmission No. 42204 ⢠Completed December 22, 1959 ⢠Porsche Kardex This 356B Roadster is finished in a striking combination - Slate Grey with a Red interior. One of 560 produced from September to December of 1959, the Roadster was the successor to the Speedster and Convertible D, with a similar, taller soft-top frame, a taller windshield, roll-up windows, and comfort seats like those of the Convertible D. Imported by Intercontinental Motors in San Antonio, Texas, this Roadster benefits from long-term ownership, with provenance tracing back to a single-family ownership from 2002 through 2024. Reportedly maintained as a running and driving 356 before being placed into storage in 2020, the 356 remained preserved and untouched until it was acquired by European Collectibles in 2024. The 356 was found to be in exceptional condition and was complete with the matching engine, original doors, and decklids. European Collectibles performed a full nut-and-bolt concours restoration on this Roadster over a 20-month period from 2024 to 2026. Finished in the stunning combination of Slate Grey with a Red interior, German square-weave carpets, a black soft-top, and a black boot cover. During the restoration, this 356 was completely disassembled and stripped down to the bare shell so that every aspect could be properly addressed. All the panels were pre-fit with bumpers, along with the windshield frame and the soft top frame, to ensure the absolute best result. All the chrome was triple plated, and all the components were restored or replaced. Mechanically powered by its matching 1600cc flat-four engine (Type 616/1) producing 60 horsepower, paired with a manual 4-speed transmission (Type 741) and four-wheel drum brakes. This T5 Roadster has been fully restored. The engine, transmission, suspension, braking system, fuel system, and electrical system were all addressed. The undercarriage is solid and rust-free
