This vehicle is located at our Indianapolis facility - 2461 Reeves Rd #194, Plainfield, IN 46168 This 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne blends vintage styling with tasteful performance upgrades, making it a standout classic with a modern edge. Finished in a clean white exterior over a blue interior, it retains much of its original charm while benefiting from a number of mechanical and cosmetic enhancements. Under the hood sits a fresh 357 cubic inch small block Chevy with a 4-bolt main, Patriot Freedom aluminum heads, hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor, Billet Specialties valve covers, Sanderson block hugger headers, and a Flowmaster exhaust system. Supporting components include a Powermaster alternator and starter, SFI-rated flex plate, ATI dampener, ColdCase aluminum radiator with factory-style fan and shroud, and an aftermarket transmission cooler. Power is delivered through a Turbo 350 transmission with a Transmission Specialties 2200 stall torque converter and Lokar column shift linkage. The car rides on Billet Specialties Speedway wheels18x8 up front and 20x10 in the rearwrapped in Kumho performance tires, with stopping power provided by a Right Stuff front disc brake conversion. Its equipped with 4-corner VIAIR air ride with dash-mounted gauges and switches, LED headlights and taillights, and a Retro Sound audio system. The original interior shows well with only a small tear on the driver seat, and all factory gauges are in working order. The Chevrolet Biscayne was introduced in 1958 as a no-frills, full-size model designed to provide customers with the space, performance, and durability of higher-trim Chevrolets at a more affordable price. While it lacked the chrome and luxury appointments of the Impala and Bel Air, the Biscayne earned a loyal following among fleet buyers, hot rodders, and drag racers for its lighter weight and wide range of available V8 engines. By the mid-1960s, the Biscayne had become a favorite for performance enthusiasts who wanted a sleeper-style carplain on the outside but potent under the hood. The 1964 model year carried the clean, squared-off styling of the era, and today, well-built and tastefully upgraded Biscaynes like this one capture the perfect blend of classic Chevrolet design and modern performance capability.
