1966 Pontiac GTO

The GTO is often credited with kicking off the muscle car craze, and the 1966 model year is one of the most beloved in the nameplate's history, thanks to its smooth, Coke bottle inspired body lines. This example is a very clean car that pairs that classic shape with a powerful 455ci V8, giving it the kind of presence and performance that made the GTO a legend in the first place. Finished in a deep Blue Metallic, this GTO has a rich, glossy look that highlights every curve of its sculpted body. It rides on 15 inch AWC chrome wheels that add a bright, classic finishing touch and give the car a confident, aggressive stance. The overall presentation is clean and sharp, the kind of exterior that looks right at home at a car show or parked at a cruise night. Power comes from the 455ci V8, a big displacement engine that delivers the heavy torque and rumbling sound that muscle car fans look for. It's paired with a 4 speed manual transmission and a Hurst shifter, a combination that puts the driver fully in control and makes every gear change a satisfying part of the experience. It's a classic muscle car drivetrain that's every bit as fun to drive as it looks. Inside, black vinyl seating keeps the cabin clean and period appropriate, while a wood steering wheel and wood dash add warmth and a touch of classic style. The black and wood combination gives the interior a sporty, purposeful feel that matches the car's character, and the overall condition inside is just as clean as the exterior. This 1966 GTO is a great opportunity to own a very clean example of one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built, combining timeless styling, big V8 power, and a true 4 speed manual driving experience.
