This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS is a professionally built pro-touring restomod that blends classic first-generation Camaro styling with modern LS performance, upgraded suspension, and a completely refreshed custom interior. Originally customized by Driven Rides & Rods of St. Louis, Missouri, this Camaro has since received additional updates including a freshly refinished all-black exterior theme, newly blacked-out wheels, and a completely redone brown leather interior that gives the car an even more aggressive and upscale look. Powered by a fuel injected 6.0L LS2 V8 paired to a 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission with a Yank Performance 3,600 stall converter, this Camaro was built to deliver modern reliability and serious performance. Performance upgrades include a Texas Speed Torquer V3 camshaft, 90mm throttle body, Hooker Super Competition ceramic coated long tube headers, 3-inch custom exhaust, DynaTech race mufflers, and BadlanzHPE electronic exhaust cutouts that give this Camaro an incredible sound at the push of a button. Power is transferred through a shortened Ford 9-inch limited slip rear end with 3.73 gears and heavy-duty Moser axles. The suspension and chassis setup on this Camaro is equally impressive. Equipped with RideTech electronic air suspension with remote-controlled ride height adjustment, tubular front control arms, tubular subframe connectors, adjustable rear upper and lower control arms, upgraded sway bars, braided stainless brake lines, and a reinforced four-link rear suspension, this Camaro was built to handle as good as it looks. Stopping power comes from Wilwood 4-piston drilled disc brakes at all four corners. The exterior now features a much more aggressive murdered-out appearance with freshly blacked-out staggered 20-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 front tires and massive Mickey Thompson rear tires that give the car an unmistakable pro-touring stance. Additional exterior modifications include RS hideaway headlights, shaved door handles with electric poppers, recessed driving lights, chin spoiler, tubbed rear wheel wells, and custom blacked-out trim throughout. Inside, the cabin has been completely redone with custom brown leather bucket seats featuring diamond stitched inserts, matching custom door panels, a custom center console, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, tilt steering column, Bluetooth audio, and a premium Kenwood and Arc Audio sound system with a custom enclosed subwoofer setup in the trunk. The contrast between the brown leather interior and murdered-out exterior gives this Camaro an extremely high-end modern muscle appearance that sets it apart from typical restomod builds.
